I'm not saying this as a detractor as I do actually like her (perhaps not as much as I once did), but outside the little monsters she is generally seen as a laughing stock at the moment.

'Venus' is essentially a novelty song, as much as I do kind of enjoy it too.

You know he's completely right, except about actually enjoying Venus

She has such a bad reputation right now and anyone I asked about her was always like, 'Uh no!', because they see her as a novelty act thanks to things like Swanga and too many crazy costumes.

She can't release Venus because of this!

She needs to scale it all back, mega song like G.U.Y or Gypsy, normal clothes, great live performances so that people can see how talented she is again.

I don't get why DWUW wasn't on there... it should've been Applause vs. Roar and then DWUW against Dark Horse?

Yup!

SLAYPLAUSE is the highest on iTunes, even higher than donatella. Katycats will slay us in this though what horrible creatures they are.

Because it says "vote for your favourite top 5 single", and that wasn't a top 5 single.

It was a close call between Lady Gaga's

"Applause" and Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" in

the battle of the pop divas, but "Applause"

managed to squeak out a win with 53

percent of the votes cast in the poll.

Gaga's Top 5 hit will face more stiff

competition in Round 2 when it battles

Rihanna's "Stay," which struck down last

year's Song of the Summer, "Blurred Lines"

by Robin Thicke, with 61 percent of the vote.
