It wont achieve a new peak but the chart reverse is good for building sales. I do like Lady Gaga and like to see her do well but applause is terrible so i am disappointed to see it do better than some other songs by other artists who i feel should be in her chart position but instead are lower down.
Up to #7 in the uk this week... Chart run is now 5-9-7,pretty solid! She has a chance of a new peak this week let's hope it happens! :cheer:
Today's airplay in the US is 49.361 (-0.097) but she's been #4 on iTunes all week but the airplay has been in decline all week which is very worrying :(
Those airplay updates are scaring me she has to release a 2nd single now!!! The one that got the best reception at the itunes festival maybe Swine?

No. The 2nd single has to be released around October,2 or 3 weeks before the album. No messy releases like the last era please!

This. LEt th song fade first. It's still in the top 10 and on radio.

She delivered a strong performance of Applause last night, I enjoyed it a lot more than the VMAs ! :D

This week: Lady GaGa's Applause recovers 9-7 (30,621 sales)

Applause UK sales: 101 556

LADY GAGA Applause 50.061 (+0.529)

US airplay on the rebound again! :cheer:

Big sigh of relief!!!!! And it's still very stable on iTunes :D

I'm so curious to see where she charts in the US this week, I'm predicting #4 for a second week! It's been #4 almost the whole week on iTunes but its airplay hasn't been too outstanding so idk.....
I think she stands a chance of #3, Blurred Lines and Miley is on the decrease and Eminem hasn't been that big! #3 would be amazing in the US :D

I'm not sure Blurred Lines will drop that much, We Can't Stop is out of the top 10 now so that could drop behind Applause but then there's Wake Me Up which I see jumping to #3.

I predict:

#1 Roar

#2 Blurred Lines

#3 Wake Me Up

#4 Applause

#5 We Can't Stop

I do hope I'm wrong tho! :(

Is Wake Me Up's airplay better than Applause's? I think Applause's streaming tally must slay WMU's though!

Can't believe shitty ROAR of all songs will be no.1 this week :( Poor poor Applause :nocheer:

Rises 5-4 on Hot Digital Songs with sales of 213k (31% increase) which means it US sales tally is now 594k! Praying for a new Hot 100 peak tonight :drama:
