Wowzers!!! :o Wasn't expecting to see this crash bang at #1 as a re-entry. Have to admit it's grown so much on me and up to last week had progressed 40-32 in my chart.

100% :wub: For me, 'Wings' is the best X Factor proper debut single since 'Bleeding Love'. I love that the girls have gone for an uptempo party pop stomper with this and I'll actually be a bit gutted for them if this doesn't make #1 when released.

Well, here's another grower. I guess sometimes when I hear a song for the first time I'm probably not in the right frame of mind to like a song for what it is. This is just a really simple but catchy pop song, and it does exactly was it says on the tin.

:wub: Already been no. 1 in my chart for 3 weeks. Still can't get enough of Florence's spectrum. :D So glad this had the chance to become a glorified UK chart topper.

Urgh, a song featuring Dappy should never be good. It still irks me that I liked 'No Regrets' however short lived it was, but if I like a song then kudos to the artist. Which brings me to 'Explode' and I notice you've not credited Dappy. Is there a Dappy-less version? I saw the video to this the other day and thought it was a decent track. The female singer doesn't half remind me of Rihanna when she sings certain phrases. I guess it's a Barbados thing.

 

14. [8] Runaways - The Killers (6 - 7 - 8 - 14) [4wks]

 

Like this a lot but even now, I know this won't be a #1 hit in my chart. Compared to 'Human' which I fell in love with pretty much from the first time I heard that track. Spent 6 weeks at no. 1 and became my #1 of 2008. :D As for 'Runaways', it's left to be seen how successful this will be in the long term.

100% :wub: For me, 'Wings' is the best X Factor proper debut single since 'Bleeding Love'. I love that the girls have gone for an uptempo party pop stomper with this and I'll actually be a bit gutted for them if this doesn't make #1 when released.

Urgh, a song featuring Dappy should never be good. It still irks me that I liked 'No Regrets' however short lived it was, but if I like a song then kudos to the artist. Which brings me to 'Explode' and I notice you've not credited Dappy. Is there a Dappy-less version? I saw the video to this the other day and thought it was a decent track. The female singer doesn't half remind me of Rihanna when she sings certain phrases. I guess it's a Barbados thing.

Like this a lot but even now, I know this won't be a #1 hit in my chart. Compared to 'Human' which I fell in love with pretty much from the first time I heard that track. Spent 6 weeks at no. 1 and became my #1 of 2008. :D As for 'Runaways', it's left to be seen how successful this will be in the long term.

1. Well I had only one choice for #1 this week, this. It's not doing much on iTunes right now, hopefully that will change soon as it really needs to be big.

 

2. It's regrown on me in the last couple of weeks, with the video coming out, I can't get enough of Little Mix right now, and I expect the album will be up to this standard to. A truly *.* prospect if there ever was one.

 

4. Give you a good time? :kink: Nah, it is a bit of a grower, still not getting bored of it after almost 2 months. And it should have been released by now.

 

10. There is a Dappy-free version.. the album version!!! It's far superior to this tacky Dappy add-on thing they've done for the single release, although I can appreciate why they've done it. Amanda really does remind me of Rihanna, this may be partly why I like her.

 

14. It is fairly standard Killers, so it's not doing AMAZING things in my chart yet. This may change later on.

 

20. Merely me appreciating its greatness a bit more. And finding it impossible to get bored of no matter how many times I may play it.

Well it's not me! :o I was sending it and I think it could have done very well but I changed, I guess it's fairly obvious what to. :lol: I may regret it but we'll see, I thought it'd be a track several people would've been after so I expect someone else snapped it up after I let it go. 1. I am still hopeful this will smash, and hopefully not just in the Foster The People/Noah And The Whale sense many people are predicting it for. It's gone top 10 in other countries, it should be able to here.

6. You might, it's excellent indie-pop, although the lyrical metaphor it uses involving porcupines is a bit... laboured. :(

13. This album is their best yet for me, so I'm quite pleased, they are really coming up to date, it's a good thing at least a few people are taking notice.

5. I agree, it's the best album I've heard from Train, but this is lovely, the female singer's voice goes so well with the singer of Train and it's just lovely. The euphoricness of 50 Ways To Say Goodbye has just hit me though and it's overtaking this as my favourite from the album now.

11. Yeah, it was on Tirren's CD Swap and when I asked for it, it introduced me to this wonderful song.
