According to foxnews.com, the 32-year-old mom of 1 year old, Willow Sage Hart, will make her debut in print ads for the cosmetics company this fall. MTV News reports that the rocker will be the face of a ‘bold new mascara innovation’ and will debut many more ’surprising new beauty looks on her lashes, lips and everything in between,’ in the coming months, according to a CoverGirl press release. Pink will dare women to take more beauty chances as part of her campaign. Coming from someone who has been known for living her life out loud and taking chances herself, who better to inspire women to think outside the box. Pink began her career with a major chip on her shoulder, setting out to prove that she didn’t have to fit the mold of female pop singers. Well, she’s convinced us all. It’s hard not to appreciate all that she’s shared via her music. She’s been telling the story of her life from her earlier works, ‘Don’t Let Me Get Me’and ‘Just Like a Pill’ while dishing out in-your-face party anthems like, ‘U & Ur Hand’ and ‘Raise Your Glass’. Pink is a Grammy award winner and no slouch by any means but, when she performed a beautiful ballad, ‘Glitter in the Air’, at the 2010 Grammy’s everyone was in awe. It was a shining moment for the superstar who makes it well known that her live performances are indeed live. She’s been through hell and back but, she always seems to find a way to persevere. Women can identify with her because of that. So, bravo CoverGirl for choosing a strong, daring woman who has been sharing her flaws since we laid eyes on her.
