Posted August 9, 201212 yr With MDNA on it's 20th week of release MDNA had sat in Hungarian album chart top 10 for EIGHT TEEN weeks!. It's run so far 1-1-4-3-5-5-5-5-6-4-4-7-7-13-13-10-8-7-5-9 The singles have been just as successful.. Give Me All Your luvin' peaked at #2 for 2 wks Girl Gone Wild peaked at #4 for 3 wks Also with NO tour stop in Hungary this time it seems a pretty successful era despite not being so good in other parts of the world.

August 12, 201212 yr Great success in Hungary,and not taking away from it what are sales like in general in Hungary though, quiet low i would imagine? yeah I didn't notice MDNA's chart positions are that good :-) Well sales are minimal. I don't have exact data, but I can imagine album sales are not higher than 50 copies / week, and singles worse. Piracy is very high in Hungary. Singles don't even exist, only digital downloads since iTunes opened to Hungary start of this year, but sales for the number 1 on iTunes are around 30-40 units / week. But to be fair, Hungarian radios play a lot of Madonna songs: Give Me All Your Luvin' was all over the radios and also Girl Gone Wild. I heard also debuting in one of the leading radios of Budapest (Music FM) her new song Turn Up The Radio.
