Judging by the T4 Special, do you think that maybe Christina's maybe losing her power voice she once had, or was it just a bad day?

 

Evidently, she stuggled with 'Beautiful' and 'Aint No Other Man'. She backs out of the high notes and seems to sound croaky on the low ones. She also sounded strained throughout most of 'ANOM'.

 

After years of using it, could Christina be losing her outstanding voice?...

I say she struggled with Beautiful too, but I don't think she's lost 'it'... She seems to hit the high notes easier than she used to, but finds it harder to hit low notes, but I'd put it down to a bad day...

But she couldnt reach the highest in 'Beautiful' - not sure if she ever has done live though.

Everyone has their bad days, she might just need a rest as she's had to use it a hell of a lot recetly. ;)

I dont think she struggled during aint no other man, but I did say it looked like she struggled emotionaly in beautiful.

Well thats the best I heard her sing Aint no other man live yet and it sounded better to me than it did on record...

and as for Beautiful, she looked upset when she sang it but she sounded just as good as ever, it just sounded to me like she was trying something a little different with it.

I thought she sounded a bit strained on ANOM too. I thought she sang it better at the MTV Movie Awards. Obviously, months of endless promo is gonna have an effect so I doubt she's losing it.

have u heard 'back to basics'? her vocals have NEVER sounded better so no way in hell is she losing it... the MTV MOVIE AWARDS performance of 'anom' was better, she sounded AMAZING, hit all the notes!!

 

the TV performances were good BUT not her best, although 'understand' as josh said sounded exactly like the record!!

 

so to put it bluntly has she F*CK lost her voice, she was probs jet lagged as she flew from US to paris then exactly the day after her performance in paris (which sounded AMAZING might i add!) flew straight over to UK for 3 days of not stop promotion and performances for T4 and at the KoKo club, she must of been knackered!!

Yeah, thats all dandy in a head voice - but in full voice? ... i dont think so, it aint possible. The notes im talking about are the ones at the end of Beautiful and The Voice Within - i seem to recall her changing and working round the top notes at the end of the songs slightly on live occasions to help her out...
