Samantha was truly amazing this week! Just wow, she is world class, pitch perfect, everything! Bella is definitely out this week I'm thinking, I don't know how the rest will go. Samantha has obviously been bottom two three times but honestly her two performances could have turned that around! Or maybe I'm just overly optimistic.

Wow at the semi final having a sing off, thought it was a straight elimination. Anyway shock at the top 2, no doubt one of them will end of third next week though.

 

My hope is getting far too high that Samantha night actually have this :o Idk because she's been bottom 3 times but I just can't see Jason winning regardless of whether he's not been bottom 2 before, but then as I earlier said that's probably optimism... Jason would be a shit winner, even if he is good.

 

Thankfully it looks like The Collective won't win if they were bottom 2 twice in a row! I bet Mel and Jason believe they have this though!

 

So we'll either have the worst winner of all time, or an act who's been in the bottom 2 twice will make a massive comeback to win. Really not keen on Jason and although they're alright the major pimping (especially earlier in the competition) of The Collective put me off them winning.

 

Samantha is brilliant though, she's rarely off and it would be amazing if she could win after being bottom two 3 times! I think she could do it, she smashed her performances and her winner's single sounds AMAZING.

The Collective have been in the bottom 2 twice, Samantha has been in three times. I fear Jason is going to win. Yes he has a good country voice, but I don't enjoy it. I also don't see why they have only just made him over in the final, and not at the start of the live shows. Samantha for the win please.

Whenever I hear 'The Collective' I keep thinking of that megaflop Children in Need band last year with Tulisa, Tinchy Stryder etc. :lol:

Seriously how someone who won had been in the bottom 2, three times I will never know. Guess Australia took time to find the love for Sammy. Pleased The Collective finished third as well, after such massive over hype and being in the bottom 2, in the two weeks leading up to the final I am glad their was no massive rebound for them. I am sure they will find some success, but they won't be another One Direction, as their fans won't like another very similar boyband, who don't seem half as thankful as 1D do for their success.

Her winner's single is so good too, I'll just pretend I'm Australian instead with such an amazing winner :wub:

Yeah the UK X Factor really needs to sit up and take note. If X Factor Australia can come up with three original winners singles for the finalists, then why can't the UK version. Other than the inevitable cover that will get wheeled out for the single this year. I am thinking Skyscraper the amount it got used as background music has huge chance of being the single.

I am NOT having Skyscraper murdered by Jahmene :( But it is very likely sadly.

 

It's much better having 3 original songs to suit each act though!

It's crazy isn't it!! When she was in the bottom 2 the first week I don't think anyone imagined she'd go on to win the whole thing. Also, Samantha survived the first sing-off because of the judge's votes, so it's entirely possible she had the lowest number of votes that first week! :blink: I hope they release the voting percentages this season.

If Sammi can win, maybe it proves we shouldn't count out Rylan to win here. Imagine his version of Skyscraper! :lol: :drama:

Samantha is amazing. Love the single and this perf was so fabulous.

 

Although I would LOVE 'Skyscraper' to be our winners single this year, original songs seems a lot more appealing and could be what's needed to boost sales again. Both Samantha's and Reece's winners singles have been great and neither were ballads (which is my main point - can we have an uptempo please!)

Thankfully they have seen sense and made What You've Done To Me available to download in the UK.
