September 20, 201212 yr The video leaked! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xtqowe_on...-re-young_music
September 20, 201212 yr Is that an official sample? Just like WMYB starts off like 'Summer Nights', the start of this is exactly like 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go'. So catchy and instant though.
September 20, 201212 yr It's been removed. I've heard that the video was played in Russia and radio in Australia played it too, they've now brought the official premieres of the song & video forward to 5pm & 6pm respectively. A very safe single but it should be a worldwide smash.
September 20, 201212 yr Author I LOVE it. [/loon] First radio play at 5pm tonight now, and goes on VEVO at 6pm.
September 20, 201212 yr It will definatley be No.1, but I don't wish it to last more than 1 week at the top.
September 20, 201212 yr So I've just seen the video, why are they all jumping on each other in a pool? Not gonna help those rumours haha.
September 20, 201212 yr It's a shame that it's used exactly the same formula as "What Makes You Beautiful" and the rest of the uptempos on Up All Night - their fans are obviously dedicated enough to buy whatever they release. It's a decent song (hate to compare, but better than JLS and The Wanted's new singles), but not really good enough for their comeback.
September 20, 201212 yr Sounds exactly as I expected. If this goes to number 1 it'll just be on virtue of name and hype. That's all I have to say on it now. Edited September 20, 201212 yr by ThePensmith
September 20, 201212 yr I don't see why they would need to show any progression to be honest, they are working SO well as it is, and they've already progressed vocally from X Factor. Album two should be about sustaining their success, and if it takes Up All Night mk.II to do that then I'm all for it. I mean JLS did three albums before they even attempted to change their sound...

What you said. 100%.
September 20, 201212 yr I didn't realise that One Direction were influenced by The Clash! :kink: Seriously though, this isn't very good at all. It's basically One Thing 2.0 - you can tell that their music hasn't progressed since Up All Night. If you haven't heard it, people who want to hear another What Makes You Beautiful will be very disappointed. I'm beginning to think that this won't make #1, and I thought that this was one of the most likely #1's of the year. Edited September 20, 201212 yr by Griff
September 20, 201212 yr Album two should be the music they want to make, not the music most likely to sustain their commercial success.
September 20, 201212 yr Album two should be the music they want to make, not the music most likely to sustain their commercial success. This isn't the music 'they' want to make though - it's a load of uninspired rubbish. How could any artist want to rehash one of their lesser hits?
September 20, 201212 yr Album two should be the music they want to make, not the music most likely to sustain their commercial success. It should be both really, but in One Direction's case, it needs to sell. Taking risks like that this early on in their career, and with such a large fanbase coupled with a lot of hype behind them, could de potentially dangerous.
