I'm really surprised I like 'Right There' as much as I do! I actually hated it on the first few listens of the album and I hated it when she announced it was the next single, but as soon as we got the video for it it CLICKED. It's fantastic!

Same! And I actually played it like 200 times and then went back at hating it like I did in the first place. The video for it was amazing tho. Maybe that's why I clicked with the song.

 

However, Boomerang sounds very poppy. I can't wait to hear it!

Can we just appreciate Nicole's iconic "mic snatch"? Or the amazing two performances she delivered with James and Jahmene. She's probably the best singer the panel has ever had.
I was hoping for a Right There clone if I'm honest. I'm sure there'll be one on her album anyway. :lol:
I must admit I've warmed to Nicole more as this series of X Factor has gone on. I found the 'SHAMAZING' etc irritating at first. Now I actually find it endearingly amusing. And she was a great mentor to Jahmene and James. For some reason I think she makes more sense as a judge on our version than she ever did on the US one.
Boomerang doesn't sound like it's up to much to me. I'm not here for fun Nicole.

I mean, I don't mind fun Nicole as a rule - stuff like 'Club Banger Nation' was very fun and very good, but mostly because it had some sort of attitude to go along with it. 'Boomerang' sounds (admittedly from a 5 second clip) like it's altogether too "look how happy and carefree I am!" and I really don't think that suits Nicole.
