Having just been looking at the thread for acts with a full 100% Top 40 record, what about if we extend this idea to acts with a full Top 10 record? I think the rules should be that we only count official singles and not downloads of album tracks or random tracks. And clearly we also have to discount acts who have only released a few singles e.g. Rita Ora! Let's say they have to have released at least 10 singles. So which acts holds the record for a 100% record Top 10 with at least 10 singles?

The ones I can immediately think of are S Club and Five (who have released 11 singles each).

McFly were on 15 until Do Ya/Stay With Me broke their Top 10 run.

Girls Aloud were on 20(!) until Untouchable.

Are there any others?

I think no one has over 10 singles and only top ten placings

All Saints have nine and no other charting songs

Eternal did quite well: 12/15 of their singles went top ten. Oasis have 21 consecutive top ten singles

I make it 22 for Oasis (from Live Forever to The Shock Of The Lightning). Although if we're talking consecutive Top 10, I think Madonna holds that record with 34 (from Like A Virgin to Secret).

Girls Aloud should never have released their last single that didn't make top 10 in hindsight. 20 top 10 songs and nothing else would have been an incredible record.

I guess a #11 song doesn't harm the record, but for perfections sake, they shouldn't have released it

Also, Atomic Kitten, Girls Aloud, Westlife, Steps, S Club Juniors, Geri Halliwell, Billie Piper, The Spice Girls and Ronan Keating all only have 1 single that didn't make the Top 10

Before "Lighthouse" Westlife had 25 top 10 singles in row (with 14 # 1 !!!!) and 12 albums (with 7 # 1 and worst position # 4)
I guess a #11 song doesn't harm the record, but for perfections sake, they shouldn't have released it

I don't think they can predict the future! But it may have been wise not to release another song after everyone thought The Loving Kind would miss the Top 10.
