I can't see either of them getting #1, err... Amelia doing over 65k I like to see that happening, when Marcus and Misha B didn't get nowhere near it, unless a flying pig passes my window

I think it be between Ne-Yo for a 2nd week or Flo Rida, Script 60/40 chance but their album is out next week, could be more sales towards their single yet to be seen.

Perhaps I'm too biased in favour of attractive female singers ;), but I still think both Amelia & Tulisa's songs are superior to Ne-Yo's & the Script's.

BTW, I'm still hoping a kind moderator will change this line of mine 'Will Ameli or Lily be #1?' to what I intended it to read : Will Amelia or Tulisa be #1?'

Thank you. :)

Are we all forgetting 'She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)' by David Guetta and Sia? The repackaged album is scheduled for release on Sunday/Monday - so I reckon we could see 'She Wolf' climb gradually through the week to a nice debut.
If Muse couldn't go top 30, I doubt that Killers can reach top ten

You'd think, but "Runaways" has been hammered by radio recently so it's probably best not to take it as a rock release at all. Fingers crossed anyway.

They're both very attractive but i don't think either of them will be number 1 next week. It's between Ne-Yo, The Script, Flo Rida & Coldplay.

Coldplay??

My moneys on David Guetta and Sia

If it's just an unpromoted album track, I can't see that happening.

This poll doesn't make sense because if we vote "Neither", then we should as well be able to vote either for "Amelia ahead, but not #1" or "Tulisa ahead, but not #1"...

Does being playlisted by Radio 1 and Capital count as being unpromoted?

True, and they have done well with first singles.. But somehow I think even Human sounds much more current today than Runaways.

Yes, that point has been made before - but not being a moderator I couldn't change it after posting.

Well, I *did* say if... ;)

"Human" was just a massive record, "Runaways" doesn't need to even reach half of its overall sales and it could easily go to #1. I don't think it will, but I'll be really disappointed if it doesn't make the top 10.

Is everyone forgetting I Cry by Flo Rida - climbing high this week - could be no1 next week as airplay rises, also Guetta has a chance with a brand new track - its being played on radio 1 and is being released at the perfect time - not quite On Air On Sale but a couple of weeks into promo so it could be no1!!

So far, the results state that Ne-Yo will remain No.1, neither of the girls will do it BUT(And this maybe the suprise some of you were not expecting), the majority of you have some Tulisa will do better. Now, I have to agree. But I don't think Ne-Yo will be No.1 next week.

Tulisa will definitely get #1.

This time of year always manages to have a sub-standard generic record at #1 by a female solo artist. 'Start Without You' and 'All About Tonight' being the last two.

01 Tulisa - Live It Up

03 Killers - Runaways

13 Amelia Lily - You Bring Me Joy

Amelia is top 10 nearly on irish Itunes and Tulisa aint even in top 200 -_-

I hope ameilia gets atleast top 10 thats better than nothing tbh

I hadn't even noticed that. Consider the tagline changed. :D
