decided i should probably watch this. regretted it immediately.

K-Pop's Party Rock Anthem, basically. More than likely a one-off big hit for the genre though, in the UK especially. I can't see any other K-Pop and J-Pop tracks taking off here, I think the only reason this one has become so huge is because the production sounds quite American.

The reason I think it became so huge was probably because of the dance and the music video rather than the production. :lol:

Well when it comes to people liking songs, the music is quite a key element. The dance and video no doubt helps, but the fact it sounds like it's been lifted from the LMFAO album is no doubt adding to it's success.

I do agree with that as well and the added catchiness made it more accessible than the other K/J-Pop attempts to crack the US intentionally.

Currently #15 on itunes in the US, I wonder if it'll actually have a shot at going to #1? its cool seeing a non-english song doing so well over here!
