Yesterday, Christina revealed in a Q&A session that the title of her 5th studio album (or 7th including Mi Reflejo and her Christmas album) will be 'Lotus'!

 

So the 'Lotus' discussion doesn't get mixed in with the 'Your Body' thread, I thought it was time for it to have its own!

 

So what are your expectations for the album and do you think it is going to perform better than 'Bionic' managed?

She's worked with Alex Da Kid & Sia, sounds good. Less excited for the Cee Lo collab though.

 

This should easily outperform 'Bionic' in the longrun, it should have a smash single for a start and The Voice promo (in terms of the US) can't hurt.

Is it a new song with Cee-Lo or that scraped track from "Burlesque"?

Sia wrote Blank Page and Leona Lewis recorded it but it didn't end up making her new album so Christina as it now, It sounds really good from snippet tho! Wish it made Leona's album tbh

TBH I wish Sia would just record and release her own versions of all these songs she's been writing for others the past few years.

I think the new single is lame, it sounds very generic.I hope the album has better songs

I don't really see how 'Your Body' is "generic".

Your Body doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel but it's hardly generic!

I'm not loving the look Xtina.

I doubt she will ever be massive again but I'm sure this will outperform "bionic". Look forward to this.
