They used to be very big back in the 90's. Amongst their biggest hits we can find "Linger" (1993), "Dreams" (1994), "Zombie" (1994), "Salvation" (1996) and "Promises" (1999).

The last thing we've seen from them was a greatest hits called "Stars: The Best Of 1992-2002" released in 2002.

Appreciate them on this thread!

I once got wrong off the manager of my local pub for over-playing Zombie! This was when it was in the charts, and they still had an old fashioned vinyl jukebox. I remember his exact words "Rob, I like that song too but will you give it a rest"... I didn't dare play it after that!

I liked them, but I think the lead singer couldn't cope with the pressure of stardom and became a bit strange.

Ouch! I've heard/read she was suffering from eating disorders (bulimia/anorexia nervosa), but they were always denied by reps.

I still have my "Linger" cassette single, I still like that record, even if it is a bit soppy! I have fond memories of when that single was in the charts, obvioulsy I was seeing someone at the time and the lyrics meant something... in fact I think I'll have to dig it out, I've never heard it for ages!

Same here to be honest....

I actually thought the HK/Chinese version of "Dreams" (which was on the soundtrack of Wong Kar Wei's excellent film "Chungking Express") was actually better than the original....
