That's one of my least fave pics of Darius. I preferred the ones of him on the beach (not that I approve of papped pics and was upset for Jacquie)

I must say I tend to prefer more natural pics than the posed model-ly ones although Darius is very photogenic and he knows how to work at a photoshoot.

 

The paps do get some fantastic pictures of Darius and Natasha and I think that's fine when they're at recognised social or charity events.

 

However I think some paps make famous people's life a misery and can actually be noxious to their relationships by putting so much stress on them. Right now I think Britney and Angelins and Brad may as well be under house arrest because they can't get a moment to themselves.

 

I agree those shots on the beach with Jacqui were an invasion of their privacy.

I don't think that D is terribly photogenic. However good he looks in pics, he looks better in the flesh. The photos are good but he's even better. Not that what he looks like is imprtant. The person beneath is and, for me, his voice. If I hadn't heard him sing first, I wonder if I'd taken any notice of him at all.

I'd seen Darius in hundreds of photographs and so many times on the TV but nothing prepared me for meeting him. I think the word is "awestruck". I remember Simon Cowell too said in his book that his friends were in awe of Darius.

 

I guess one can't photograph or even capture on film the charisma, aura, presence, X Factor or whatever else it's called, the 'je ne sais quoi' that is there and felt without any recognisable movement or sound.

I think that unsettles some people though. It's not something they can compete with or they just feel overwhelmed. There's nothing average about him. He's larger than life in everyway. I put a lot of the negativity about him , especially from males, down to that.
