Cheryl is set to release her first solo autobiography (not counting the disappointing picture book released in 2010) on 11 October (two weeks from today!).

I'm interested to see what she writes about things that have happened since the Girls Aloud one (specifically divorce, malaria, The X Factor), but it'll also be interesting to (hopefully) find out a bit more about her childhood!

I'll probably be getting this for Christmas, but if anyone gets it before then, I'd like to know if you found it interesting/recommend it please :D

I will probably read this, although perhaps avoid buying it.
If she happens to do any book signings with this, will someone please tweet me? (@troublepink) As I don't check this forum much, and I'm on twitter way more than BJ lately. I check book signings a lot, but do miss them sometimes as well

This is already #1 on Amazon's bookstore and #2 on iTunes books! If anyone has read it yet, can you please confirm the inevitable of the quote about the Girls Aloud split being true please? :(

Oh it was definitely true, there was a photograph & a scan of it. :(

I'm clinging onto the logic that others have suggested - that she's playing it down, so if the reunion does end up not being well received, she can turn around and say "well it was only ever meant to be a single & a GH and the tour".

Ordered it last night (along with the calendar :kink: ).

I bloody can't wait to read it. The quotes about Nicole are priceless, it seems there's no holding back  Big mouth's back :cheer:

I bought this spontaneously after seeing her live. It's an alright read so far, but I've only covered her childhood and there are chapters of juicy stuff to come I'm sure.
I've read it all, I couldn't put it down. Loved it. Seemed very sad the majority of it though.

So far it's coming across VERY "poor Cheryl," which is an attitude I really dislike in people and I thought Cheryl was a fighter, not such a victim. It seems she's one of those girls who makes the most of a drama whenever they come along. Harsh maybe, but I think fair comment considering what she says in the book.

(I am enjoying the book though and she's clearly a total sweetie.)

I bought it. Utterly brilliant. I know she didn't type it or whatever but she recollects stories very well and in detail.

It's immaculate!!

I finally finished the book last night and I loved it! It was very sad reading about her childhood/upbringing, the toilet incident and the closing pages about Girls Aloud breaking up. I'm amazed at how well she managed to recall some of the stories (but I loved her explanation about why she wrote the book in the first place!) I'm shocked that she was in such a bad place during her final series of the UK X Factor, but I'm glad she seems happy now. Her quotes about Nicole were "jahmazing" and the bit about Kate and Wills was priceless! :D
