When will any other mainstream pop artist be brave enough to hang up on Max Martin/Dr Luke/Pharrell/Diplo yawn etc and grab a #1 with a collection of jazz standards? Katy, Taylor and Rihanna would never turn their back on the predictable production line of hits to step outside of the box and do something like this.

 

It may not produce as many hits or $$$$$, but who cares when Gaga's clearly so thrilled to be part of this project!?
