November 21, 201212 yr Author 146. Plain White T's // So Damn Clever // November 2007 I liked "Hey There Delilah" but I didn't love it however it did spur me on to by their album which became one of my favourites of this year, this being the standout track from it and it pretty much soundtracked my life for the next year 8d7yZQkuMt8
November 21, 201212 yr Author 145. Sugababes // Stronger // November 2002 The Sugababes were so awesome once upon a time! Second best girlband of the 00's for sure ( ^_^ ) after Girls Aloud. This was also the first track of theirs which I really enjoyed and made me sit up and take notice SQ7iZ-cxyA0
November 27, 201212 yr Author 144. DJ Sammy // Heaven // November 2002 Yeah, I've since discovered the Bryan Adams original but when I was 10 this was my absolute tune! I can see it for what it is now (a bit shit) but I generally did adore this song this time ten years ago and I have some very nice memories attached to it RhifPQ55Z7Q
November 27, 201212 yr Author 143. Kevin Lyttle // Turn Me On // October 2003 I'm not even sorry I still love this ^_^ Me and my friends, just started high school at this point bare in mind, all danced to this in our school's "Rock Mime" (Christmas concert) that year. Luckily, I'm actually a good dancer so managed to escape from that relatively unharmed as I did a backflip; my friends never lived it down though 4apHuWytLko
November 27, 201212 yr Author 142. Lindsay Lohan // Over // March 2005 I'm really not coming of well today am I? I would however argue that Over would be a lot more well regarded had it not been Lohan singing it. Let's just pretend this is a Kelly Clarkson song and move on Kjrch1VFd8I
December 2, 201212 yr Author 141. Kate Winslet // What If // December 2001 This was one of those songs that I loved, forgot about and for years couldn't remember who the bloody hell sang it. I finally found it again five years later and thank god because this is honestly one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and the version of Christmas Carol is great as well. What if Kate had turned her hand to music full-time? A question worth wondering _vId_4r925o
December 2, 201212 yr Author 140. Delta Goodrem // Lost Without You // January 2004 I was given Delta's album as an Xmas present in 2003 in one of those awkward "I don't want this but gran clearly thinks I'll like it so I better pretend I do". She'd got Delta and Britney Spears mixed up (I'd wanted In The Zone for Xmas that year). However, I actually played the album and really, really liked it but the track which stood out the most for me was "Lost Without You". YMYUYtsUGgg
December 2, 201212 yr Author 139. Alicia Keys // Karma // November 2004 My usual distaste for ballads (though last two posts don't exactly showcase that) meant that Keys & I weren't exactly compatible music wise for her first few years but Karma was the track that changed that for me. It's great and it opened my mind up to Keys' immense talent and I now really like pretty much love every song that she has ever released, my favourite of those is still to come but won't be for a long while yet EUMC_raxpSc
December 2, 201212 yr Author 138. S Club 7 // Have You Ever // December 2001 Moving on... No but really I was born in 1992 for god sake liking S Club 7 as a child was pretty much inescapable 8FR0SBQd4X4
December 2, 201212 yr Author 137. 2 Play & Raghav // So Confused // February 2004 TUNE  I was all over this song when it came out nearly nine years ago (Where the hell did THAT go?); you could say I was 12 and going through that period where we end up being embarrassed about the music we used to like but I actually still really like this ozcWTmYsibk
December 2, 201212 yr Author 136. Sinead Quinn // I Can't Break Down // March 2003 Cos you can never have too many Fame Academy allumni! In fairness though, I probably like Sinead Quinn more than anyone that's come from The X Factor in the past few years SDky_d-5-6c
December 2, 201212 yr Author 135. The Black Eyed Peas // Meet Me Halfway // October 2009 OK so by late 2009 I had become pretty disillusioned with BEP following the horrid "Boom, Boom, Pow" and the good for five minutes until it became horribly overplayed "I Gotta Feeling", so I was fairly pleased by this and, along with Just Can't Get Enough in 2011, it's the only post-2006 BEP song that I actually care for I7HahVwYpwo
December 2, 201212 yr Author 134. Rob Thomas // Lonely No More // May 2005 I bloody love this  Not a fan of Matchbox 20 but I do like Thomas' solo stuff this as well as "How a Heart Breaks", "Her Diamonds" and obviously "Smooth" are all great records. One of the best male pop records of the decade right here 7spBU4Yv8fE Edited December 2, 201212 yr by justinthomas92
December 2, 201212 yr Author 133. Pink // Just Like a Pill // September 2002 The song that really made me love Pink who would go on to become one of my favourite artists of the decade . Most likely didn't get what the song was really about at the time as I was ten years old but I loved it a lot that's for sure JDKGWaCglRM
December 2, 201212 yr Author 132. Christina Aguilera // Keeps Getting Better // October 2008 Yes, I actually love this and it's her third highest appearance on this list (though my fifth favourite overall from her if we count Tell Me with P. Diddy). It's a shame her career's gone down the pan as she was actually amazing once upon a time gkPxgUshpec
December 2, 201212 yr Author 131. Amy Winehouse // Back to Black // April 2007 I can't believe I didn't like this when it came out! This is one of the songs in this list that has an honorary position because I fell in love with it after the decade had finished, it's sad that it was Winehouse's death that prompted me to discover this song again though TJAfLE39ZZ8
December 2, 201212 yr Author 130. Darius // Colourblind // August 2002 Whilst Gareth & Will only have one song each on this countdown Darius actually manages to get two in, the infectious Colourblind being the second and highest placed for him. A proper summer song that takes me back to a summer holiday in Scotland, we drove up and this song seemed to be an eternal presence whilst we did so fS4jg-Yv1XA
December 4, 201212 yr Author 129. Liberty X // Holding On For You // December 2002 My favourite Liberty X track over is the winter warmer Holding On For You. Not sure if that counts as an unpopular opinion but as far as I'm concerned this was the greatest thing that they ever did and they were miles better than Hear'Say _ik7R-8TXIQ
December 11, 201212 yr Author 128. Melanie B // Tell Me // October 2000 In my opinion this is the third best solo Spice offering after Mel C's "Never Be The Same Again" and Emma Bunton's "What I Am" in 1999. It's a shame Mel never had a very sucessfull solo career but her material never matched this, maybe if it had she could have been the British Beyonce.... or not ... probably VtW13ZtSdgw
December 11, 201212 yr Author 127. Bowling For Soup // 1985 // September 2004 NOTE: Mum does not appreciate this song being known as her theme song ( ) Just adore this song, makes me laugh quite a lot and makes me weirdly nostalgic for 1985 despite the fact I wasn't actually born then K38xNqZvBJI
