I'm going to do a personal rank and rate for TEOM, it's been out for a year now! :P

 

 

 

1. It's Like That - 9/10 - Perfect up-tempo song, love the video and I think that Fatman Scoop and JD compliment the song perfectly. Also, Mariah doesn't over do the vocals, it's just right! Best up-tempo song on the album.

 

2. We Belong Together - 10/10 - The biggest song of Mariah's career. Again, JD and Mariah made sure Mariah didn't over sing in this song, which is what makes it so good. The lyrics are nothing short of amazing, so much better than alot of cheesier ballads/cash-ins that have been in the charts lately! Probably one of Mariah's best songs for me!

 

3. Shake It Off - 9/10 - At first, I didn't like this song, but it grew on me so much over the last year, it's a great song to dance to! Perfect lower register tones make this song a stand out R&B song on the album.

 

4. Mine Again - 8/10 - A few months back this would have got better, it really show cases Mariah's voice, but I think she over does it in a few parts, however, this is still a nice song to listen to, but wouldn't be a song I'd listen to reguarly!

 

5. Say Somethin - 7/10 - the 2nd worst song on the album. Why the **** this was a single I'll never know! Snoop just makes the song worse, and Mariah's vocals are a bit boring, we should hear more from Pharell in this track!

 

6. Stay The Night - 9/10 - Should have been a single, but Kanye West wouldn't clear it for release! Great song, a million times better than Say Somethin! Mariah takes her voice high in this song, but as I've mentioned before, she doesn't take it too far. The lyrics are good too and so is the beat! A shame Kanye was involved in the production of this record :(.

 

7. Get Your Number - 10/10 - LOVE this song! It's a great dance song and it's such a shame a David Morales remix of this was never made! The vocals are hot and so is the beat, a stand out track!

 

8. One And Only - 6/10 - WORST song on the album, boring + dull, that's about it really! lol

 

9. Circles - 9/10 - Really nice song! Great, strong vocals and lyrics, something we have come to expect from Miss Carey :o!

 

10. Your Girl - 10/10 - Really like this song, should have definatly been a single! This song is just pure gold, UNDER RATED!

 

11. I Wish You Knew - 9/10 - Love the atmosphere in this song with the crowd noise! Lovely song, the beat is nice and slow and the vocals are free flowing :D!

 

12. To The Floor - 8/10 - Many people hate this song! But I like it! lol I love the beat and both Nelly and Mariah are sounding great :D!

 

13. Joy Ride - 10/10 - AMAZING song, not commercial enough for a single, but this song is pure gold! I love the vocals, the whistle, the tune everything! This was produced by a teenage boy (he was either 14-15) well done to him :D!

 

14. Fly Like A Bird - 10/10 - A religious song, I'm not religious, but this song is breath taking! Should have been a B-side in the UK! Love the live preformances to this too!

 

15. Sprung - 8/10 - This should have made the final cut instead of One + Only, but it's a bit repatative, however it's much more than a mere bonus track and better than a filler!

 

16. Don't Forget About Us - 10/10 - MY FAVOURITE SONG ON THE ALBUM! People say this is a rip-off of WBT, but I prefer this. It has sexy, emotional vocals, with a hot beat and high notes and the whistle! What more can you want? lol

 

17. Makin It Last All Night - 9/10 - Hot song, had single potential, I don't like many of Mariah's lower vocal tone songs, but this is really good!

 

18. So Lonely - 10/10 - A MAJOR improvement on One + Only! This song should have been a single in the UK, would have made top 10! The beat is amazing!
