October 14, 201212 yr  So two weeks in and we've lost two of the SINGERS in the competition. What makes it all the worse is that Chris is still there and he wasn't even one of Gary's "final 3". Damn that wildcard. From now on, we should just vote for the worst act each week. I want Christopher and Rylan in the live final - make it happen. :D
October 14, 201212 yr I was actually rooting for District3 there, I'm not particularly a fan of either. But I'm absolutely fed up of Melanie screaming and shouting every song! :drama:
October 14, 201212 yr Thing is Melanie wont really be missed, she had a nice time, and glad she did as she so sweet, but we all knew she wasnt going to last.

They've decided to support Rylan. tbf I'd rather Rylan stay over Christopher. Who's voting for him??? He's not funny bad, he's just blah. Edited October 14, 201212 yr by Middle
October 14, 201212 yr I wasn't really that bothered who went out of the 2 acts, Melanie would have went further down the line, but she didn't deserve to go early. She wasn't really final material.
October 14, 201212 yr I've come to accept that Christopher is in my life for another week. If we stick together we can make it people!
October 14, 201212 yr It could be because the phone lines open early, just realised Melanie and Carolynne performed near the end of the show. So whoever performs next week near the end, will probably go home.
October 14, 201212 yr I liked Rebecca's performance, although it seemed to go on a bit. The song's great and it was great to see her have a bit of added choreography as well. I'm not sure what to think of her new hairstyle though (I like the fringe but not the beehive/raised bit at the back). Taylor was amazing! So so random, but the song remains one of the funnest of the year and she seems like such a fun person as well! On the results - it was actually a fairly uncontroversial results show - it feels almost underwhelming  Rylan obviously wasn't going anywhere, and whilst I liked Melanie's performance, she wasn't exactly the right kind of act for the show, so it's right she went. District 3 are good singers, but are dull (especially for a boyband, whilst a much more energetic one are also on the show).
October 14, 201212 yr Author Melanie was great but she was getting far too shouty! Really don't like District3 though, so I'm a bit annoyed they went home. But then Melanie shouldn't have been bottom 2 anyway, with Christopher sailing through :/
October 14, 201212 yr This is just getting worse, week on week the good singers are going home, while the horrendous males in the overs and the groups (apart from Union J who I like) sail though, ridiculous.
October 14, 201212 yr YAY for District3 staying. Melanie's fantastic as well but I think D3 will end up selling more records and I enjoy their performances more.
October 14, 201212 yr Carolynne and Melanie both suffer from being old, and other voters voting for the other younger females. They were good signers, but being a good singer just doesn't cut it on the X Factor. Both were a bit dull, and lifeless. District3 have obviously lost a lot of votes to Union J. Rylan will probably survive a couple of weeks now. My biggest shock is how much support Lucy has drummed up. I have a horrid feeling she will the Cher Lloyd of this year.
October 14, 201212 yr YAY for District3 staying. Melanie's fantastic as well but I think D3 will end up selling more records and I enjoy their performances more. I doubt they'll ever get a chance to release a record tbh. But you're right that Melanie wouldn't have had much success so I'm not too fussed.
October 14, 201212 yr I don't care for this year anymore, Melanie going home was a travesty. Ratings dropped this week so even more next week? I hope so.
October 14, 201212 yr Theme for next week is Club classics Lucy is gone next week  she's hardly a mover.
