Posted October 10, 201212 yr 1. Maroon5 (4th week at #1) 2. PSY 3. One Direction 4. Fun "Some Nights" 5. Taylor Swift "We are never.." 6. Taylor Swift "Red" 7. Justin Bieber 8. Adele 9. Pink :o 10. Alex Clare
October 10, 201212 yr Woo for One Direction. :D Even if sales don't pick up again (radio don't seem to be getting behind it as much as I hoped/expected), it's still outpeaked WMYB. Great for Taylor too, now if only 'I Knew You Were Trouble' could do one better like 'Red' did compared to 'Begin Again'.
October 10, 201212 yr F*CK OFF MAROON 5. I havent actually heard their song, but PSY sooooo deserve the #1 :(
October 10, 201212 yr Author Am I the only one a bit disappointed by Adele's position? I was hoping she'd crack the Top 5.
October 10, 201212 yr Author And 3 Brits in the top 10 this week as well... since the Adele invasion happened, how many weeks have we had this year with no British acts in the top 10? Very few I'd think (less than 10)?
October 10, 201212 yr Am I the only one a bit disappointed by Adele's position? I was hoping she'd crack the Top 5. On 3 (?) days of sales and fairly unspectacular airplay? #8 is a fantastic debut, compare to the #13 and #16 debuts of Ke$ha and Rihanna last week and with fewer sales days. Hope it can pick up to be her 4th #1 but I won't count on it (another long running top 5 hit at least would be fab). Edited October 10, 201212 yr by Bré
October 10, 201212 yr Author Well, the Kesha and Rihanna updates give the Adele chart position much respect! Given its slow rise up the airplay chart, I don't think it'll be #1 but will be top 5 definitely for a few weeks after the movie is released.
