Millions of music fans screaming in pain that westlife had released another record.

Hmm i really don´t care much about Westlife

but i admit i kinda like "Obvious" but only because it sounds like

Take That´s "Back For Good" :P

No doubt people have said this already but whatev. Here's my thoughts on westlife.

 

At one point they were pretty to look and released pretty decent pop soings. But then the decent pop songs stopped and were replaced with predictable covers. And they got ugly. But even when they were pretty and released decent songs, they still weren't respected because they didn't write their own songs and they always mimed and things. I used to think westlife were a decent pop band but now they bore me. It's Louis Walsh's fault.

 

I'd rather listen to a pop band like mcfly who do actually have talent and whose personalities come through in their music.

Most big fans would probably purchase a GH purely as a collectors item, and also for any new tracks on it too.

Ok, I'm a Westlife fan but I have actually agreed with a lot of what has been in this thread. However, I must draw the line at someone saying 'they can't sing live'.

 

For the record, they didn't lip-sync You Raise Me Up at Record of the Year. It was live. They can definitely sing live and their LIVE concerts are what they do best.

 

But I agree that they're boring and predictable now and I don't want anymore bloody covers. But they don't care about what their fans want. They care about what will sell.
