i thought britney n christina geat, jessica tried to hard mandy was nothing!

 

now christina great, will outshine all of them, jessica will finally get the sucess shes deserved, britney will always be a legend but is her music career over, i dont know...mandy still nothing!

 

erm at first i thought jessica would have loads of ballads and do really well..she didnt:( mandy= flop she did... xtina and brit i thought both would do great.

 

now.. jessica is finally getting some success and i am really happy for her coz she has tried for so long to get recognised... brit/xtina both still huge... mandy still a flop :(

I think britney was the biggest and overall will always be remembered as the pop princess of our generation. Christina Aguilera will also be remembered and she is experiencing great success at the moment...so in order:

nowhere near it. plus i dont care how many copies britney sells. in the uk she will never be loved and respected as much as kylie or sell more records.

Well Kylie is always going to be the most well respected in Europe and Austrailia out of any of them meanwhile Britney defined the generation of the early 2000's but in the long term Christina is going to be the most successful because she has more talent than the other three put together probably and it's hard to ignore how good she is and her latest material is quite something. :wub:

Britney has very little talent IMO, but she's had some great songs!

I'd say it's a toss up between Kylie and Britney!

Her songs are good and I'd take her hits over Kylie's anyday though I like some of the latter's songs - Kylie will always be seen as the most successful regardless of sales - I doubt Britney will still be going in 20 odd years and Kylie has gain more respect and admiration for how she battled cancer :wub: Britney;'s career has been turned into an utter sham by all the media stuff.

 

Christina is in a different league to them she was a pop princess on her first album but she definately moved away from that with the 'Stripped' stuff plus her voice is a whole lot stronger than Britneys.

When she has a massive selling album and sells loads of singles in the UK then she can be used in the same sentence as Christina, Britney, Kylie and the like.

First off we didnt say of all time, they said out of that list and out of that Britney takes the cake. Yes Kylie is well respected but she isnt even known on this side of the world. Britney spears sculpted the pop scene considering the effect she has had compared to others on a worldwide scale. And plus she has been around for more then 8 years.

And when i say that remember im saying out of that list.

Christina's brilliant new album has finally left Britney Spears way off back in the distance.

 

But if Madonna is the Queen of Pop, then Kylie is the Princess of Pop, end of debate. :lol:

 

The definition of a princess of Pop is an artist who started recording pop material for a teen audience (which rules out the likes of Mariah, Whitney, Anastacia) & usually started recording at a young age (under 21).

 

 

But britney will be back mark my words -_- . And britney has had 5 albums and christina is just coming out with third and its great. But how does that leave britney in the dust. I agree chritna has a great voice but still.

Despite the fact I adore Kylie I don't think she is (and thankfully) a pop princess anymore. The title is usually represented with younger singers. Kylie is pop royalty but in terms of pop culture and the "generation" as it was, I think its Britney. Despite Kylie being miles better.

 

Christina has also thankfully branched out of the pop princess thing. I just represent the title with teeny singers. She is now a woman. A young Whitney sort of "diva". I always knew she would come out on top over britney. Because the fact is Christina can sing, Britney was just good looks. And once they go away...

 

Jessica has finally had the opportunity in her carreer to break away from the teen scene and all her peer comparessions. She has made her mark (atleast on america) and is finally in a place in her carreer where she should be.

 

And Mandy. lol, bless her. she never realy got anywhere did she. She has sold like 6 million records world wide including singles and albums. And that's 4 albums included I think.

Every single she's released here has been embarrassing and wouldn't have done well at all if she wasn't pretty. 'A Public Affair' is great though and I'm hoping for a good album but I've heard a few clips and they weren't very impressive. Not wanting to offend anyone but I think that Kylie is a bit old for Princess of Pop even though she's my favourite and is the most respected here in the UK. Britney is the Princess of Pop for me. There's something about Christina that makes me forget she's a person. She is easily the most talented though and is brilliant but Britney's songs are much more modern and catchy and although I rather Christina all in all Britney's songs define pop more.
