I think it will do pretty well for the pure fact lots of people are saying good things about it when they didn't do so as much for 'Henrietta.'

This could possibly do for The Fratellis what 'Naive,' did for The Kooks and get them a very mainstream fanbase too.

I don't think they'll live up to what The Kooks have done. -_- Chelsea Dagger is very radio friendly but its not getting as much airplay as Naive did. I suppose it could work better in the long run for The Fratellis though as The Kooks are gonna have a lot of pressure on them to make a debut as good as their first, were as I don't think The Fratellis will have that much pressure on them.

Either way they should have a decent sized fan-base after this single.

I recon they will get top 20 atleast. :)

I'm pretty sure both their album and single will go top 20. ^_^ I think Chelsea Dagger could even possibly break the top 10, but only just. I think top 15's more likely though which is still good. ^_^

'Henrietta,' got to #19 so this will more than likely be top 20, I recon that they could maybe get to about #9 with this but it's a bit of a wild guess but they should be top 15, we will be able to tell better by judging where it charts on downloads only this week.

Yeah thats exactly right. I'm pretty sure it will better Henrietta's position and i'm think exactly like you in that it could possibly get to #9 but we'll just have to see. :P

On the Arctics front, I was right. :( Its fallen a bit already from the chart postiton on sunday.

I was expecting them to fall from Sunday's position as us as their fanbase were bound to buy the single on it's week of release!

The same applies to most indie bands. -_- I mean the Arctics would have been #1 on physicals but downloads was their stumbling block. Downloads work well for some bands and not so good for others, I mean if it weren't for downloads Snow Patrol would be out of the chart by now, so meh. Its album sales that really count anyhowz. ^_^

I presume that they are putting LBTLCO on the 2nd album as I read somewhere that the Arctics wanted to make it look like it was on their debut even though it wasn't, but hopefully it means that the 2nd album will be released later this year/early next year?

I haven't heard about that. I mean I ain't too sure what their doing with it, whether their gonna re-release the 1st album, put it on the 2nd or just have it as a stand alone singles. Well I think their hoping for a January 2007 release for the second album, but I don't hold too much hope for that. -_- I expect it to be more spring / summer time.

Right this doesn't really have ANY relevance but I just wanted to know the answer to this question. You know at the end of LBTLCO what does it say? I woke you up, what time's the bust-up or I woke you up, what time's the bus stop?

I'll walk you up, what time's the bus come ;)

No way! :o  That really does shock me.

I can't even blame the Northern accent either because I'm from Manchester

Well their Sheffield accent is a lot different to a Manc accent

Their Sheffield accent really isn't much different to my accent though. :( They just sound a little more Yorkshire than me. ^_^

the hype has finally ended and they ended up number 4,its the start of all the hype going now then they will find it hard to deliver the goods without the huge critical hype

I disagree a lot with that. -_- The hype has ended yet there still at #4 which is very respectable when their an indie band and especially with it been the summer and all, and lots of people are on holiday. Also their on the covers on NME just about every other week.

I don't even think the hype is over tbh.

Each band have a stumbling point and they have had quite a few lately but by the time the new albums out and if it's as great as the debut (which it probably will be) then they will get all their hype back! :D
