August 16, 200619 yr Goalkeeper: Chris Kirkland finally wins his first Cap replacing Robinson. So Kirkland's dad finally wins £10,000!
August 16, 200619 yr Author Well the second half was flat as a pancake, but it was a good game to watch I totally agree with that. I guess the second half though was more about looking at different players and all the subs stopped the flow of the game, and none of the english based players have played a premiership match this season so meh. -_-
August 17, 200619 yr It was alright but I wouldn't get too carried away. Sven's first game in charge was a 3-0 win over Spain, and look what happened with him! It was good though and proved that you can accomodate both Lampard and Gerrard - by dropping Becks! Crouch was good too. 8 in 12 - A phenomenal record!
August 17, 200619 yr Crouch was good too. 8 in 12 - A phenomenal record! Yes, but just look at who they were against and what kind of goals they were - weak and tap ins.
August 17, 200619 yr Yes, but just look at who they were against and what kind of goals they were - weak and tap ins. That's what a good old fashioned striker is ;) get the ball in the box and he'll get on the end of it to put it into the net :cheer: though he should have got a couple more though. I was very impressed with Stuart Downing inparticular last night :D Joe Cole might struggle to retain his regular place considering that performance and Downing being a natural left footer.
