Love, you're listening to Eurovision. If you're going to start having problems with standard song structure you might as well GO HOME.

I KNOW BABES. I usually don't even notice these things but this time it's just WAY too safe.

(I'll end up loving the song in 2 weeks mark my words lmao)

It's all very nice but nothing screams winner or even top ten from this bunch. Birgitta's song is by far my favourite although the male/female duet with the string intro is nice (can't remember the name just yet)! Magni's song isn't a patch on Hugarro.

I quite like Þú, but it wouldn't work in Eurovision at all. It has got an air of Tone Damli about it though. Meðal andanna is rather nice too, but is definitely lacking power.

Skuggamynd is pretty decent and I imagine I'm alone here, but I quite like Sá sem lætur hjartað ráða för too. Ég syng! is as good as I was expecting, but I don't think it's quite right for Eurovision either.

Augnablik however... *.* Oh Erna. This has to win, it's just gorgeous!

YES. Cal, you and I on board of that ship already. :D Who else?

Magni's song contains the word 'Augnablik'. IT'S A SIGN.

So far they're neck and neck for me. If only Erna had that DRIVE Magni has, she'd have been way ahead.

AAHHHHHHHH SHIT'S JUST GOT REAL GUYS.

I've just listened to Yohanna's song and I love it! It is different to Is It True? and Slow Down but it just sounds beautiful and very uplifting! Of course I don't know what the lyrics mean though! :kink:

So who's ready for this? *.*

Tomorrow will be INSANE with three nordic selections aired! :drama: And Norway + Iceland starting at the same time :(

The feed is surprisingly of REALLY bad quality but you can still see how pretty Yohanna is!

Gotta give it to Yohanna. She can sing any garbage and still WERK it.

Magni 2 win.

Oh what a surprise. Birgitta through.

Lífið snýst?! :/

Either Magni or Yohanna OUT wot

Ég á líf

I like the song and everything but no Yohanna AND Magni.

Excuse me but Augnablik needs to win this like RIGHT NOW.

Augnablik must win!

Not overly surprised at the qualifiers, but I am disappointed. Ég á líf was rubbish, but it was the only track tonight where I remembered how the chorus went so I'm not surprised it went through.

Really can't bring myself to watch the Icelandic national final. Last year's one was just so boring I almost cried. I thought Ireland did things on the cheap, but Iceland took it to a whole new level!

But yeah, Augnablik must win! And Erna better keep it in Icelandic if she does win! Their entry last year lost so much of its appeal after they translated it!

To tell the truth I only watched Yohanna's and Magni's performances :D It really WAS boring this year. No Eva + Ragnhildur = no fun.
I didn't even see it but ha at Yohanna and Magni going straight out, they deserved it with subpar songs. YAY for Birgitta  Til Pin to storm the next semi please!

So gutted I missed Augnablik

PRAYING it gets through.

Til Thin through. YES. Although I doubt that after last year sending a DUET will work :D
