Til þín :cheer: It must win, my favourite song of the 2013 season thus far, from any nation!

Magni is the wildcard and the 7th finalist.

PHEW. At least one AMAZING song in the final. Last year was SO much better WHAT HAPPENED :(

Gutted for Augnablik, I guess Iceland just want to send something different from last year. They probably know Augnablik would only get them a bottom half finish at best despite it being a great track.

100% behind Birgitta now, but I don't think any of the songs left will be strong enough to get Iceland into the final.

Til Thin is strong enough to do that trick I think! And I also thought Augnablik is a dead cert for a Top 15 in the final.

This would sail into the Eurovision final, it's so anthemic! The production!

I'd be ecstatic with a Birgitta win too though, the other four can piss off.

The running order for the final has been announced.

1. Magni Ásgeirsson - Ekki líta undan

2. Svavar Knútur Kristinsson & Hreindís Ylva Garðarsdóttir Hólm - Lífið snýst

3. Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson - Ég á líf

4. Birgitta Haukdal - Meðal andanna

5. Jógvan Hansen & Stefanía Svavarsdóttir - Til þín

6. Haraldur Reynisson - Vinátta

7. Unnur Eggertsdóttir - Ég syng!

Hoping for a Birgitta win!

Switched over to this now, definitely the first time I've ever watched the final of this and can champion my personal chart #1, not that I expect it to win. Will probably be Vinátta or Ég á líf that win, guaranteed DNQ's in Eurovision. Failing Til þín sweeping to victory, can Birgitta please do it!

Yep, I've switched over to this too! Apparently Birgitta is on next! :D
Odd staging for Birgitta, four grim reapers as the backing dancers? Fantastic song though, very different to Open Your Heart but VERY Eurovision. Would be content with it winning but my favourite's up next!
Eg Syng is very Kylie, she even slightly resembles her! My third favourite of the night probably.

I really liked that last song!
Oooh, just seen on esctoday that Euroband and Selma are the interval acts!
Selma and Euroband doing a Eurovision medley  Selma appears to have morphed into Carol Decker in recent years!
They're not going to do ever winner since 1981 are they?

So Eyþór and Unnur through to the superfinal!

Poor Birgitta :( Hope that Unnur can win somehow () , but I think Eyþór is the favourite.

The superfinal is between Ég á líf and Eg Syng! I hope the latter makes it as it's very catchy at least but oh dear, not seeing either of these in the Eurovision final! Poor Birgitta and Til þín! I've seen a lot of talk about Ég á líf so I'm sure it will win, it's fairly charming I suppose, the singer looks like a rock band singer launching a misguided solo career with a ballad
