Atlantis is amazing.

In all fairness to Atlantis, I do like how it sounds how you think it should, all ethereal and stuff. The final chorus sounds very 'halcyon'.

 

For me I think the Singles should go ACH > Figure 8 > My Blood > Only you > Halcyon/Joy

 

If Joy was every released though they would have to bring in the percussion sooner. I love it how it is but I fear that it wouldn't be radio friendly enough with the quiet start.

Figure 8 is really amazing, I've had it on repeat for most of the latter part of this week. I hope it smashes.

Well that was a... patchy video. Ellie trying to be "interesting" is wonderful musically but I'm really not feeling it visuals-wise. Some of the scenes in that video would have made a fine video for the song but they're surrounded by so much shit. No direction at all.

 

And yeah shot on a budget of like £5 which I don't understand. This era is doing well, there's no need to put her in the bargain basement department.

All of it. Being a bit more specific, "Figure 8" is the obvious highlight with "Only You", "My Blood" and the title track being other highs.

 

The video for this is quite disappointing. I'm not sure what I expected, but it wasn't really that. I don't mind it though, it's just the weird red cloth over the face thing that seems odd.

I don't think the video is that bad. :unsure:

 

I was certainly expecting worse having read what some were saying here.
