Posted March 23, 200619 yr Rumors are slowly but surely coming out that Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson have been asked to replace Paula Abdul because of her "irratic" behavior. This was reported on Fox 5 news, and Access Hollywood. But American idol represenatives and Paula Abduls camp are saying these rumors are nowhere from the truth. (wrote by me :D )

March 25, 200619 yr :lol: Apparently they asked Whitney and Mariah too.. both declined I think though :blink: Mariah Carey has been put off working on American Idol by the prospect of appearing alongside Simon Cowell. The diva has been tipped to be taking the place of current judge Paula Abdul on the show, but she is not too keen. Mariah told The Globe: "I love the talent and all that, but Simon has a real attitude problem and I think he is way too cruel. I guess other than as a guest, that could rule me out.
