(was going to post this whatever, but if it is Diandra, Finland could be on to a good thing this year)

Ooh Diandra could be potentially amazing, if she does something like Outta My Head Finland could be onto a top 10 to be honest. I've always thought that song would've been a fabulous Eurovision entry.

We could potentially have the Swedish and Finnish Idol winners of 2012 at Eurovision then, with both Amanda and Diandra going for their NFs!

Full list of artists/songs:

Arion – Lost in the Woods

Atlético Kumpula - Paperilyhty

Diandra Flores – Colliding Into You

Elina Orkoneva – He’s Not My Man

Great Wide North – Flags

Iina Salin – Last Night

Ilari Hämäläinen - Sytytä mut vaan

Krista Siegfrids – Marry Me

Last Panda – Saturday Night Forever

Lucy Was Driving – Dancing All Around The Universe

Mikael Saari – We Should Be Through

Rautakourassa - Ilmalaivalla

Looks a fairly good lineup from song titles alone... and I have a few more Finnish names to stalk for BJSC entries, but particularly Diandra's song title sounds quite SOMETHING.

Well Diandra's entry is quite the anti-climax, if she makes it to Eurovision it'll definitely be on name alone. Iina Salin to win, although I wouldn't be surprised if Arion or Rautakourassa ended up being sent.

I doubt it. Having not heard it, it'd be total fanwank in all likelihood - another Kate Ryan/Rockefeller Street situation.

^ It won't even be that, listening to it now. It's good enough in a 'ooh this is a nice album track' kind of way but no way Eurovision smash material.

Without having heard any of the other entries, I doubt that it's the best Finland can do!

It's far more instant than Outta My Head was (although that was weird for me, took an age for me to even see a thing in it) but it isn't that great.

I'm off to listen to the rest of the entries now.

Arion's song is great! :o Mikael Saari's is good, too!

Well Diandra might be able to do something live to improve that (maybe, I haven't checked any of her idol performances) but I agree, it's nothing special.
Diandra has an amazing live voice (I've watched what I could find of her on Idol when I was obsessed with Outta My Head), but you can only work with what you're given at the end of the day. Even a performance like Euphoria can't mask the fact this song is merely 'quite good' imo.

I agree re: Arion. Them to get sent please. Eurovision ROCK OUT. *.*

Has anyone got a link to the entries page?

I also kinda love 'Saturday Night Forever'. :(

Colliding Into You is very good on first listen!! And I think it's a song that would come across brilliantly live. :D I'd be very happy to see this in Eurovision!

LOVING this! Hopefully the winner, Diandra's song isn't up to much at all.

The videos have all been removed, anybody got alternative links or MP3's, I haven't listened to any of these yet!

Finally heard Diandra's song, I love it, very Echo-era Leona Lewis, why all the negativity :o Guaranteed it will be riding high in most personal charts in a few months if Finland pick it! Her vocals are great too imo;

Last Night is decent too, in an Anastacia sings Ultra Nate sort of way...

Diandra and Mikael Saari are through to the final tonight. Iina Salin, Last Panda & Rautakoura go through to the next semifinal (an andra chansen if you will) and Ilari Hämäläinen is out.
