Melanie Amaro who was the winner of the 1st season of The X Factor USA will release her debut album 'Truly' in early 2013.

 

So far, promotional single 'Respect' and 'Don't Fail Me Now' have charted at #3 and #8 respectively on the US Dance Chart and 'Love Me Now' has charted at #26 and #111 on the US Adult Contemporary and US R&B charts. She has now released a new single entitled 'Long Distance' which she will perform on X Factor USA tonight. All of these songs can be listened to below!

 

I'm really looking forward to this album after loving 'Don't Fail Me Now' especially, its looking like having a great mix between R&B and dance!

I can honestly see this album never happening.

I genuinely came in here to post that when the thread had been recently posted in :lol: Thought it the other day when I saw the thread on ATRL, Long Distance is absolutely bombing even with the XF promo (to be fair the viewing figures are so low for that it was hardly going to help that much) and Love Me Now/Don't Fail Me Now were just very minor hits on their respective radio formats. Every sign just points to this being one of those albums that's pushed back 'so we can work on it a little more' and then one day we'll probably just cease hearing anything about it and her.
