Scotty I am being converted to Rudebox, but I am still not a lover of rap..but like anything with Robbie it is so much better when he does a track "live" and even more so when you can see him..he is a visual artist, not a listening one.

 

I enjoyed the whole thing, I was a bit worried at first, he seemed to be trying too hard to whip up the crowd and as we cannot see what he was doing he suffered on the radio with Tripping which is so good usually, and Monsoon, which is not a fav of mine even at Knebworth.

 

I enjoyed Radio/Make Me Pure/Advertising Space/Feel/LMEY/ and bloody Rudebox. I wish he would ditch Strong and Millenium and put in more from IC, because the Euro crowds appear to know those songs the most. Ghosts and Spread You're Wings would be great instead of those good but tired songs now.

 

Yes I shook my Rudebox again, and the crowds reception when he finished was surprising, I thought there would be a deathly silence but nope..they appear to have saved that for Angels.

 

Monsoon tell us it wasn't so, that it was just the radio not picking them up singing it.

i thought it was very strange they didn't make so much noise during angels over here in amsterdam they where singing the whole song with him and it was great

I agree with you Susie, but then again I would, sorry, no I wouldn't, because you don't or didn't like Rudebox. I must say I am getting into it now too. As for it LIVE, well, it was bloody amazing. :cheer:

 

He should be performing more Intensive Care songs. Kick out all the old ones apart from Come Undone Why the hell does he want to perform Rock DJ at the age of 32. geez and as for Millenium and Strong :puke2:

 

Sorry to all the Rudebox dissers, but this is one good song, with clever lyrics and catchy beat. I cannot wait to see him perform it at Leeds and Milton Keynes.

 

and as for the crowd, where were they for Angels! he should have picked Milan. He would not have had to work the crowd so hard. What a relief that Rudebox went down well with them. It got a great reception. :cheer: .

Terrible songs?? :o They are modern pop classics. Rock DJ is AMAZING live. :wub: It is a concert afterall and he is supposed to sing songs which will get a crowd going crazy, that is what Rock DJ does. Millenium and Strong are the same although certainly don't have near as an effect as Rock DJ on a live audience. I do agree however that he should sing more IC songs epecially Ghosts, Trouble with me and APTC :wub:

 

And Come Undone is the only "Hit" he should sing :o What about Feel and Angels and all the othe timeless classics. :huh:

Jackie has edited Scotty and took out the word "terrible songs" lol...they are of course not terrible, but they are done to death, but as you say people go to hear these hits and he really has to do them..as Robbie said in the interview tonight he never goes to concerts because no one act or artist can do a complete show of all the songs he knows by that person or band..because that is what he wants to hear..the songs everyone knows.

 

Feel and Angels he could never drop because they are classics, Strong and Millenium he could.

One thing i think we can all agree on is how great Rudebox sounded live. :o It sounded so much better than it did in Milian, but i suppose it was the first time her sang it live then. ^_^
