Leo Moran from the Saw Doctors has mentioned on his blog that he has been interviewed by Fiachna Ó’Braonáin (Hothouse Flowers) for a radio documentary about the Irish charts. From looking through the Christmas double issue of the RTE Guide this appears to be a 5 part series (each show running for 1 hour) on RTE Radio 1 - the episodes are between 2 and 3pm starting on Thursday 27th December with further shows on Friday 28th, Sunday 30th, Monday 31st and Tuesday 1st January. The shows are repeated over 5 consecutive days (VERY early mornings) starting at 4am on Sunday 30th though presumably they will be on the listen again facility on the Radio 1 website as well.

Interesting. What was covered in it?

Each show covers 1 decade (ie: part 1 - 60s, part 2 - 70s and so on). It's a mix of the story of the charts, interviews with those involved with producing and presenting them as well as some of the big artists, and clips of many of the actual hits. Each show works through the relevant decade in chronological order.
