Florence and the Machine should do Never Let Me Go. The most undeserving flop of all time.

I'm still sad that No Light, No Light missed the top 40, even after an amazing BRITS performance.

Glad to see Paloma on, I imagine she'll perform 'Picking Up The Pieces' but I would love for her to perform 'Just Be'.

I wish Lana was on as she's had quite a successful year with the album, but even as a massive fan, it would be a bit depressing if she had performed "Born To Die" for it to be broadcast on Christmas day

Paloma Faith....love her.

Has Carly Rae Jepsen ever sang live?

Great so far, love Robbie Williams, Carly Rae, Florence and Sam & The Womp, some pretty good artists on this year  Lots of #1's, although I've only just realised just how many we've had this year. 36, that's the most since, and only six behind, the ridiculous turnover of 2000  At least a few of them climbed to the top and it wasn't just all new entries, so it didn't seem quite so bad.

For me the best performances so far are from Paloma Faith and Florence they kicked.

Carly just sounded rather dull, the rest of the show so far has been rather poor for my liking

Coldplay for #1 please :cheer:

Girls Aloud performing Beautiful cause you love me - didnt know that was a hit this year?!

keep up, it was a #97 smash

They probably booked this TOTP gig months ago and expected Beautiful to be a hit, just shows how far off the mark this release was and that it was meant to be a proper single even if they fob it off as a 'promo' one now after its flopping.

I thought the release was held back to january?

Gabrielle sounding divine!

Yeah John Newman looked nothing like I expected him to! :o

Missed the start of this as I didn't realise it was on (started watching from Florence).

Gabrielle Aplin.....Beautiful :) This should have been the Christmas number two or three. Happy it got a chance to reach a summit.

So this is the face behind Rudimental? I thought Jon Newman was black?! Great voice, and one of the better performers.

Yes, saw them perform on Jools a few months back - they sound class.....new single in january with Angel Haze!!

Not the best tracks to represent 2012, Gabrielle not bad at all, if anyone thinks GA's performance was brilliant they need their ears examined, Sarah mumbled her words couldn't hardly hear her, plus the track was rather bland, one moment Nadine nearly had a wardrobe malfunction.

Girls Aloud performance was more of an extra performance to mark their 10 years in music.

James Arthur now, he sounds rather boring performing Impossible.

Overall it was a poor show, without commenting on the #1 track, because I know its awful.

Well they are a class act! Perhaps Alex Clare can get a slot for the NYE show?

Good month for Holly Johnson, sings on the Xmas #1 and a cover of an old song of his was #1 a couple of weeks ago!
