December 22, 201212 yr Swedish House Mafia 'Don't You Worry Child' at #12! :cheer: Is this the highest a Swedish act has been? Or has someone like Abba, managed to break the top 10? Roxette is the most successful Swedish act of all time in the US, they have scored 4 number 1's and 2 number 2's while Abba only scored 1... Roxette number 1's are : 'The look' , 'Listen to your heart', 'It must have been love' and 'Joyride'.... i don't think any other Swedish act will ever match their feat...
December 22, 201212 yr Robyn managed to break the top 10 early in her career too iirc. Unfortunately she's done very little since :(
December 22, 201212 yr Robyn managed to break the top 10 early in her career too iirc. Unfortunately she's done very little since :( Twice, both with Do You Know (What it Takes) and Show Me Love. Eagle-Eye Cherry reached #5 with Save Tonight in 1998. Europe reached #8 with The Final Countdown in 1986. Nenah Cherry has two top 10s -- Buffalo Stance at #3 (1988) and Kisses on the Wind at #8 (1989). Someone mentioned Ace of Base's The Sign which was indeed the #1 song of 1994 (although it was released in 1993) -- Ace of Base also got to #2 with All That She Wants in 1993, #4 with Don't Turn Around in 1994 and #10 with Cruel Summer in 1998. December 23, 201212 yr 17 RE-ENTRY 2 Same Love, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Featuring Mary Lambert 17 This could end up charting on the Hot 100 when Thrift Shop really blows up. I wonder if they're re-release some of their previous singles. Same Love would get them so many more fans imo.
