98 One Direction - One Thing

This is the highest One Direction song in my chart and what a song! It reminds me of seeing a friend from Scotland on one particular day in February! Good times. Perhaps my nostalgia for the song has influenced the song's position in this chart, but it still reminds me of that brilliant day that I'll never forget. :D We were also listening to the midweeks in the car and it had gone back up due to its physical release after hanging around the #26-#30 position for AGES. It eventually peaked at #9 and it is probably the teenage girl equivalent of what P!nk's Try is to me (e.g. having a big boost after floundering in the charts). The video is very cringey though. I wouldn't recommend watching it. :kink:

Oblivion is ACE.

I agree. Although Genesis is so much better.

97 Madeon - Icarus

It's a brilliant song and it reminds me of that week during the spring when all of those new entries came flooding into the chart. Good times. This song was one of my many jams during spring but it's a chore to listen to these days. It reminds me of bad memories as well. This peaked at #23 in the UK Singles Chart and peaked at #5 in the UK Dance Chart. Don't look forward to any more Madeon songs though, because they're not coming up.

96 D'Banj - Oliver Twist

This was my theme song for a week in May 2012. I remember taking my RE exam when this song came out. Bad times. It's a tune but it's quite cringey to listen to these days, knowing that it's a part of my past and it generally doesn't bring back happy memories. It peaked at #2 in my chart (THE ONLY CHART THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS) behind the spectacular Where Have You Been by Rihanna. It wasn't a non-#1 in my chart either, it's still to come in fact. This song peaked at #9 in the UK Singles Chart and it peaked at #2 in the UK R&B Chart. Woo. I guess that I share my tastes with the R&B Chart then.

95 Rizzle Kicks - Traveller's Chant

I love this song! It reminds me of my holiday in York in April 2012 so much. It's such a breezy and optimistic song as well, which enhances my enjoyment of the song. It is featured on those Sun adverts though, so that has lessened my love for the song. But it reminds me of a better time in my life at least. ^_^ It peaked at #44 in the UK Singles Chart and it peaked at #6 in the UK R&B Chart, which was the same position as my personal chart position for this song!!!! Those R&B fans have such a good taste, don't they? :kink:

94 Muse - Madness

This is a beauty of a song. The synths, the bass, the dubstep elements and influences, the guitar solo, the raw vocals, everything about this song is pure perfection. One of my favourite Muse songs. They should do more songs like this instead of the ghastly Supermassive Black Hole! Urgh. :puke: It peaked at #25 in Spetember 2012 in the Official Chart.

93 Cheryl - Call My Name

It's an incredible song, it's very catchy, it's good to dance to, it reminds me of my holiday in Portugal, I haven't got bored of it yet, I'm tired of writing these descriptions, etc. Next!

92 Jessie Ware - 110%

This is the only song from Jessie Ware that I've properly adored so far and it's the last song from her to chart in my EOY chart. It peaked at #61 in the Official Chart and the Devotion album was released to the general public in 2012, which Buzzjack naturally lapped up because they needed their fix of generic and lifeless quirky pop music. It also peaked at #5 in the album chart in the one of the most terrible album markets since records began. :D

And I'm not throwing shade at Jessie, I just find her songs and her voice quite annoying.

91 Jay-Z & Kanye West feat Frank Ocean - No Church In The Wild

Duhna, duhna, duhna, duhna, duhna, duhna, duhna, duhna. This song reminds me of the Jubilee. And the day when I threw up. GOOD TIMES. No Church In The Wild is quite a depressing song, but when I'm in the right mood to listen to it, it can sound INCREDIBLE. And it introduced me to Frank Ocean, so I guess I have to give the song credit for that! Jay-Z has two more entries, King Kanye has two more entries, and Prince Frank has three more entries in my fabulous EOY chart.

90 Sub Focus feat Alice Gold - Out Of The Blue

This is the second and last song from Sub Focus in my EOY chart. This is a lot better than Tidal Wave, so listen to the YouTube link if you can, it's a brilliant song! ^_^ This peaked at #23 in the Official Chart and it peaked at #5 in the UK Dance Chart.

OK, can someone else please reply? This is a complete waste of time if no one else replies to it.

89 Alt-J - Tesselate

Commentary will come when I get into the Top 50, I'm running out of time.

88 Calvin Harris feat Ne-Yo - Let's Go

87 Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe

This is probably the lowest it's been in someone's countdown so far. I used to like the song but I don't any more, it's f***ing annoying these days.

86 Skrillex & The Doors - Breakin' A Sweat

Definitely one of the most ground-breaking hits of the year. It's such a jam as well.

85 Mumford & Sons - Lover Of The Light

This is my third favourite Mumford & Sons song of all time, after Little Lion Man and Winter Winds. ^_^

84 Dot Rotten - Overload

Definitely one of the most underrated songs of the year. The sample, which is Robert Miles' Children, is one of my favourite songs of all time as well.

83 The XX - Angels

Such a beautiful song. I don't think we've had a good chillout song like this for ages.

82 Asaf Avidan - One Day/Wreckoning Song (Wanklemut Remix)

One of the songs that would not have made the Top 40 without BJSC, I reckon. :kink:
