I'm loving this Lindsey storyline!! Also she's totally gonna let Kim Take the fall for all the murders... Or frame Tegan!

I'm really at the end of my tether with that, Pete/Cleo and the Holly/Jason/Robbie triangle :drama: I mean at least Jason knows now but Holly is really getting on my nerves, make up your bloody mind woman! She doesn't want Jason but she doesn't want to not have him either, she seems to think she can have both twins for the rest of her life, but it was never going to be like that. She's just so wet :lol: I mean I know it's a difficult situation, but it's been like a year now and she should just have chosen Robbie ages ago. Really, she should have told Jason when she had the chance with the whole hotel saga. HO just seems to like to drag these things out, with very little going on or very similar things going on (the amount of times Holly was nearly caught for example, and Jason knowing she was cheating but not knowing it was Robbie). It's just really lazy writing.

 

As for the gloved killer thing, I think it's ridiculous they keep letting her get away with it when she's almost found out. She has to get her comeuppance soon, I much prefered Lindsey as a character when she was first in it and just normal, like before Browning's death even. That said, I did find the fact that she was the killer the best outcome, as it was more interesting to track her from normal doctor as she slowly went totally mad and killed numerous people. But it's really dragging, I think she should have killed maybe one more around Christmas and been found out then, because nothing new is really happening and it's very boring to watch now. I think she'll maybe get caught with her next victim? I thought that would be Pete, but he survived. I just hope that that ends soon as well, I thought his trial was January and he'd be sent down, so Cleo could just move on. It's quite tedious to watch the bog standard him asking Cleo for money and getting angry when she can't find it. He's not even being that evil or manipulative, it's just boring and I find myself waiting for when he's just banged up. Nadine Mulkerrin is a brilliant actress though.

On my last tether with this show, Kim being framed is f***ing ridiculous :drama: Like honestly just tell the police your unhinged sister has murdered like 8 people and have done with it. But from interviews when the killer was revealed, it sounds like Kirkwood doesn't want to get rid of Sophie Austin so I honestly can't see Lindsey being caught until the anniversary again in October :/ I hate when producers get like this over a character, in this story it seems like they'll just sacrifice anything or anyone to keep Lindsey away from being caught. But surely everyone watching just wants to see her banged up now? :lol:

I think she's a good actress, just an awful character now. She was pointless before and quite annoying, briefly good for the killer reveal but recently just too much and a really quite hammed up, ruined character. I guess she can only so much with the crap she's given :lol:

And Marine. Jesus Christ, between her and Ellie, Theresa comes off looking like Meryl Streep. I thought Lysette Anthony was an accomplished actress!

 

I'm kind of stanning Kim though, I hope she isn't killed off by Lindsey before Lindsey is found out :/

She's just such a horrendous character, and even looking objectively without my opinions of her, there really feels like there is nowhere to go with the character. There's no chemistry between her and Tony, Finn and Sinead are gone and Scott is awful and isn't even actually related to her :lol: I can maybe see the Hutch going under and her leaving for a new start?

About time! The gloved killer thing was brilliant for a time and I maintain that Lindsey was the best choice to be the killer, but it really dragged on especially with her very nearly getting caught countless times. It's just really tedious now and I really want to see her get her comuppance.

I would LOVE it if her and Freddie left together.

 

I'm in two minds about this whole storyline, I think Lindsey was the logical choice, however she's such a talented actress. I'm disappointed she's leaving, I'm guessing she decided against renewing her contract (don't blame her) therefore she was chosen as the glove hand killer

 

Edit: Just seen why she left :( I really hope she isn't caught and returns in the future with Freddie's baby!

 

Hollyoaks have a really good balance right now actually, a lot of the weaker actors / actresses have been axed / left, Hollyoaks have more entertaining storylines than any other soap and I think the cancer storyline will be an incredible watch, I'll always maintain the Esther storyline (no matter how uncomfortable viewing it was) was one of the best / hard hitting storylines to ever grace Hollyoaks, it still saddens me how it was snubbed so hard at the soap awards considering the amount of lives it changed.

 

Bring back Jacqui (Is she even doing anything?), Warren Fox, Brenden , Louise (imagine if she returned because she was never actually dead?) and I would provide Chris Fountain with another chance.

 

P.s I really hope Silas doesn't end up arrested and ends up walking free.
