Both actors played a blinder with the miscarriage story last year. A bitch with layers. Hollyoaks' own Janine. 03 Holly Cunningham 05 Tom Cunningham 10 Myra McQueen - would have been my 10 if not for a certain moustache twirling Irishman. 06 John Paul McQueen - flashes of a decent character in there but I've never thought all that much of James Sutton. I'll give him time though. 10 Jacqui McQueen - I want her to punch me so I can get a t-shirt that says "Jacqui McQueen punched me AND I LOVED IT" 05 Bart Mcqueen - a few months ago it would've been a zero. Thank God he's not "on the weeeehd!" anymore. 07 Theresa McQueen - I can't rationalize it. I want to put her on a keyring. She can pull out her guitar and sing to me at impromptu times throughout the day. 08 Dodger Savage 03 Will Savage 06 Dennis Savage - send him and Leanne off into the sunset. 08 Walker 07 Joel Dexter 09 Ste Hay - can be a stroppy, gobby, irrational diva. But he can be equally adorable and loyal and caring. The Doug pairing was a tsunami scale disaster but his chemistry with Brendan is blinding. 09 Phoebe Jackson - great new addition. Lovely girl, but also a FAR more convincing bitch than any of the other teens when the mood takes her. 06 Leanne Holiday - spare part now. -1 Doug Carter - of all the blankets in the world, was there ever one WETTER than this useless RAG? 01 Ruby Button - one point because the actress is capable. But the character is as staunchly hateful as Maddie in her prime. 07 Esther Bloom - it would be more if the writing for her was a little more consistent. They seem to have discarded her personality in recent months in order to make her a victim. 10 Mercedes Fisher - her transformation into would-be superbitch has been A JOY to behold. May she and Dr. Browning POISON ALL OF CHESTER and fly off in a Batmobile. 10 Carmel Valentine - quite overlooked in the context of her sisters I feel but she always bring the belly laughs. What an absolute sweetheart. I do hope she'll find a way to forgive Barney. 05 Texas Longford 05 Tilly Evans - another one who gets through personalities like I get through toilet paper. No doubt she'll be back with a vengeance soon as an eco warrior or a journalist (the go-to career for smart-ish girls in Hollyoaks). 08 George Smith - has truly overcome his poor acting and paper thin characterisation in the beginning to become a really likable guy now, if conveniently forgotten when the plot suits (like with Esther). 08 Barney Mcbride - gets some fantastic lines. Also seems to have a large bulge. 06 Annalise Appelton - not bad, but ultimately won't be remembered two years from now. 06 Rob Edwards - ditto.

I think I prefer him with Jacqui to Cindy. 07 Cindy Hutchinson / The character of Cindy is great, but I don't rate Stephanie Waring as an actress. SHE CAN'T CRY! 02 Holly Cunningham / She left as a 12 year old, and came back as a 40 year old woman. Bizarre 04 Tom Cunningham / Bland child who has the makings of being Duncan Button mark II. 10Myra McQueen[/b] / One of the best adult characters in Hollyoaks history and also one of the funniest. 07 / John Paul McQueen / I loved him during his first stint with the whole McDean thing, but he's seriously jarring upon his return. Plus I don't buy this whole baby storyline at all. 10 Jacqui McQueen / An actual legend. Claire Cooper is one of Hollyoaks most valueable actresses and I've both laughed my head off at Jacqui and cried. A rare 01 Bart McQueen / Thank Grilled cheesus he has gone. One of the worst teen characters in the History of the show. 06 Theresa McQueen / An annoying murdering ho bag. She loved Joel so much that she snogged Dodger at the first opportunity. 07 Nana McQueen / Funny. 08 Jack Osborne 07 Frankie Osborne / Frankie can make me howl one day and make me want to kick her in the tits the next. A very inconsistent character. 09 Darren Osborne / One of the funniest characters in Hollyoaks but sometimes his actions have me wanting to scream at him. 11 Nancy Osborne / There where 3 characters vying for my 11 points, but I gave it to Nancy in the end. A character who I first hated, but now I love. She's grown so much from the bratty teenager who arrived in 2005 and from the girl who was nearly raped by Jake. Her relationship with Darren is brilliant and Nancy is a character who I'd always route for. 08 Cheryl Brady / Talking of inconsistent characters, here's another. Cheryl arrived as a comedy character but is so much more then that. But one day Brendan is a God, and the next she wants nothing to do with him. I can't see her lasting that much longer, but I would like to see her find Mr Right before she leaves. 06 Seamus Brady / Awesome actor but he gives me chills. Vile character. 04 Declan Brady / Brat. 10 Brendan Brady / A god in Moustached form. One of Hollyoaks best characters ever, he can make you laugh in one scene and utterly make you cry in then next. Emmett Scanlan has a bright future, and Brendan's exit will leave a massive gap in the show. 07 Callum Kane 06 Lacey Kane 09 Martha Kane / Future Queen of Life. 03 Ash Kane / Bland. 10 Mitzeee / One of the best female characters in soap.i 07 Maxine Miniver / Had a great entrance but if they pair her up with the bland (but admittedly fit) Liam it could ruin her. 05 Sienna Blake / More wooden then my fence. 06 Patrick Blake / Plus points for being a total DILF. 03 Sinead O' Connor / SCOUSE CAR ALARM. Stephanie is actually a good actress but Sinead is a vile bitch of a character. 06 Diane O' Connor 04 Jen Gilmore 06 Liam Gilmore / Plus points for having an insanely lickable chest. 07 Dirk Savage 09 Liberty Savage / I don't even care. January 14, 201312 yr Oh come on Shoat, Maxine has the potential to be as Fabolous as Mitzeee (although that's quite impossible) I'm sure she has the potential to be QUITE GOOD, but that potential is far from realised yet, and in truth I don't think Nikki Sanderson is as good an actress as Rachel Shenton who has been one of Hollyoaks' top finds these past couple of years. I'm not arguing that she's a terrible character, merely that it's early days and far too soon for her to be rated a Hollyoaks legend.
