Hello good folk!

There wasn't one of these in this form last year but a couple of years ago JamesP half-finished one in this very forum where all the multicharts posted through the year are combined together to make an end of year multichart. With a lot of major help from Joseph, I've added this all up and now hopefully myself and Nick will be counting down the top 75.

So get predicting and discussing and we'll be back later.

Has my EOY chart been counted up? :cheer:

Because we all know that the chart would be INVALID without my contributions. :kink:

Also, wouldn't this thread fit in better in the EOY forum? Just a thought. :P

Edited by G_R_I_E_F

Excite! Gutted i never posted my chart every week and only started doing it recently (Tulisa would have stormed this if i did :kink:).

But yes, Loreen is the only winner, and probably Electra Heart on the albums (if you're doing albums)?

Maybe Griff, but James did it here a couple of years ago and maybe it'll get more attention here. It could be moved once complete.

75th will.i.am (feat. Jennifer Lopez & Mick Jagger) - T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever) [13 wks] (42-38-37-24-14-12-11-14-19-32-34-49-59) 603pts

The first of a couple of will.i.am tracks ("Scream & Shout" missed out because it's too recent) is the dreadful "T.H.E.", a big mess of a song that not even Jennifer Lopez could save. Thankfully the masses didn't see fit to give it a top 10 peak but it does just sneak in here (ahead of poor "Want U Back").

74th Alex Clare - Too Close [11 wks] (39-21-17-11-11-10-11-11-18-30-52) 605pts

The only good thing to come out of Internet Explorer recently is "Too Close", a hit on both sides of the pond for Brit Alex Clare which came close to spending five straight weeks in the #11 spot.

73rd Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble. [12 wks*] (66-42-49-34-35-27-20-11-9-7-4-2) 606pts

Current Multichart #2, "I Knew You Were Trouble." nabs itself a spot in the end-of-year chart despite only being promoted as a single recently, thanks to being released earlier on as a promo single from "Red" and just being all round amazing.

72nd Solange - Losing You [12 wks*] (41-24-25-26-29-24-28-30-22-19-18-14) 612pts

The only member of the Knowles family to make it in this year is Solange with single "Losing You" which has slowly worked it's way up over the past couple of months after appealing to pop and indie fans alike.

71st Jessie J (feat. David Guetta) - Laserlight [12 wks] (44-12-8-9-9-14-18-20-26-29-37-64) 622pts

Despite all the hate she seems to get, The Voice judge Jessie still has enough fans to get her here with her most recent solo hit, produced by French DJ David Guetta. If only it was the much superior "Repeat" in it's place. :(

#70 Marina & The Diamonds - Power & Control [13 wks] (44-31-19-14-13-13-14-17-21-23-33-64-58) 624 pts

Breaking into top 70 is second single from Marina's album Electra Heart, sadly the single flopped WW, not sure why this song is not that much loved among the fans but I found it as her best single from this era.

#69 Jessie Ware - Wildest Moments [15 wks] (61-39-39-31-36-27-22-20-16-15-23-36-36-51-58) 630 pts

TBH I have never heard anything from this girl so I can't really comment about this song.

#oops

#68 Cheryl - Under The Sun [15 wks] (74-53-69-75-70-28-21-15-12-7-7-9-13-18-38) 631 pts

This was quite risky single choice but it worked somehow, personally I prefer this over to ''Call My Name''.

#67 The Wanted - Chasing The Sun [13 wks] (40-42-29-11-15-17-17-17-18-16-26-36-72) 632 pts

Peaking just outside top 10 is I would say one of the finest The Wanted's singles. This has peaked @ #2 on UK chart and has sold over 250,000 copies.

#66 Alexandra Burke - Let It Go [13 wks] (53-22-12-14-15-14-15-15-14-28-39-40-71) 636 pts

Oh poor brave Alex, such a good album but it just didn't worked. This song was second single from the album and sadly peaked only @ #33 on singles chart, deserves so much more!

65th Labrinth (feat. Emeli Sandé) - Beneath Your Beautiful [10 wks*] (24-7-7-9-6-8-13-14-15-15) 642pts

This UK #1 smash from Labrinth and woman of the moment, Emeli Sandé, falls victim of being a bit recent, with it being saved for an X Factor performance, and with good reason as it's his best single to date.

64th Rita Ora (feat. Tinie Tempah) - R.I.P. [14 wks] (65-49-29-20-19-19-11-12-16-16-20-26-50-67) 645pts

Rita's first single as a lead artist showed great promise, being a bit more urban but since then she hasn't lived up to it. I'm surprised it didn't get a top 10 peak on the Multichart and (the worse) "How We Do" is still to come.

63rd will.i.am (feat. Eva Simons) - This Is Love [13 wks] (61-44-24-8-4-6-7-9-15-15-27-38-51) 679pts

Our third UK #1 in a row comes from will.i.am who enlisted the help of Dutch flop Eva Simons for the vocals. I still weep that "Silly Boy" never had this kind of success.

62nd Nelly Furtado - Big Hoops (Bigger The Better) [12 wks] (56-21-14-12-10-13-14-10-10-13-23-35) 681pts

Poor Nelly. This is such a great pop song, very catchy and it should've been huge but well..it's all gone downhill for her, silly woman shouldn't have waited so long.

61st Leona Lewis (feat. Childish Gambino) - Trouble [13 wks] (40-18-14-14-10-10-9-6-9-14-28-50-63) 703pts

Another flop, this time the lead single from Leona's third album, "Glassheart". Sounds a lot like Emeli, should again have been bigger than it was, quite the grower.

Slaylor ~

At least Alex finished higher here than in the official YE chart. Lord knows where she was there.

Taylor Swift + Labrinth =
#66 Alexandra Burke - Let It Go [13 wks] (53-22-12-14-15-14-15-15-14-28-39-40-71) 636 pts

Oh poor brave Alex, such a good album but it just didn't worked. This song was second single from the album and sadly peaked only @ #31 on singles chart, deserves so much more![/color]

It actually only got to #33 :drama: Such a disaster for such an amazing song :(

Glad we still loved it (kinda) on here.

woops edited :) ^

#60 Misha B - Do You Think Of Me? [14 wks]

(39-25-23-26-19-19-20-12-10-15-25-29-36-60) 706 pts

Well this is quite shock to me, hers only entry in top 75, didn't really noticed that this was more loved than ''Home Run'' here.

#59 Alicia Keys Feat. Nicki Minaj - Girl On Fire [15 wks*]

(59-45-41-40-43-33-31-24-22-12-6-10-15-21-29-) 709 pts

Never really loved this, she always more impress me with second or third singles, she did it again with ''Brand New Me'' which is absolutely brilliant!

#58 Olly Murs Feat. Flo Rida - Troublemaker [11 wks*]

(39-22-16-11-7-4-3-3-2-6-8-) 715 pts

Really good comeback from Olly, when I have first time heard this it has reminded me on Britney's (You Drive Me) Crazy [The Stop! Remix], instrumental is quite similar!

#57 Emeli Sandé - My Kind Of Love [14 wks]

(36-25-19-16-12-18-19-17-15-20-23-26-33-59) 726 pts

Queen Emeli with her BEST single from the era, such a shame that this missed top 10 in both UK chart and here, but it has done really well on UK chart with quite low peak.

#56 Calvin Harris Feat. Ne-Yo - Let's Go [17 wks]

(74-48-30-28-12-13-10-10-18-20-23-30-33-47-43-49-71) 733 pts

Calvin had really amazing year, loads of top 3 hits, this one is his third best selling single from new album ''18 months'', which is fighting with Emeli for no.1 on UK album chart this week.

55th Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks [13 wks] (42-16-13-7-5-6-6-6-8-16-24-36-68) 735pts

Icelandic band OMAM are #55, surprised by quite how well this did for what it is but very deserved, a brilliant track and the follow-up singles haven't quite lived up to this one.

54th Robbie Williams - Candy [15 wks*] (42-29-26-28-22-29-28-10-14-14-19-23-25-32-57) 742pts

Was never a Robbie fan but "Candy" is brilliant, so catchy, was great to see it become his first UK #1 in years with help from The X Factor. Only just made the top 10 here but it's stuck around for a long while and isn't out quite yet.

53rd Lana Del Rey - Ride [13 wks*] (56-52-21-17-13-9-5-3-7-8-13-20-22) 742pts

It's THIS woman. Thankfully "Ride" isn't too bad so it didn't pain me too much that it got a top 3 peak in the Multi, she has worse to come later on.

52nd No Doubt - Settle Down [14 wks] (42-12-6-7-5-9-14-14-22-21-26-34-42-59) 751pts

My 3rd favourite song of 2012, No Doubt returned with a perfect summer pop song littered with hooks. Had an initial good start in the US before bombing, made hardly any impact in the UK - thankfully you guys granted it a nice top 5 peak.

51st Adele - Skyfall [12 wks*] (2-2-2-2-3-3-7-16-19-24-29-51) 752pts

Buzzjack's very own "Moves Like Jagger", debuted straight into the top 2 and stayed there for far too long. I still don't get this song, not a big Adele fan to begin with but it's her worst single and extremely dull. The "recency effect" has done something good as it misses the top 50 by a single point.

#50 Lana Del Rey - National Anthem [14 wks]

(66-33-18-11-9-4-5-7-11-12-18-25-37-55) 753 pts

So in top 50 is second Lana's entry, this song is in my top 3 fave singles from her, so i'm glad to see in top 50.

#49 Christina Aguilera - Your Body [14 wks]

(49-27-22-17-14-12-11-13-15-16-12-19-28-54) 755 pts

Only God knows why this has flopped so hard, perfect pop tune with great video, will she ever rebound from flop status?

#48 Scissor Sisters - Only The Horses [14 wks]

(46-21-17-15-16-13-9-9-9-12-17-24-36-65) 755 pts

Peaking 3 weeks @ #9 is SS's best single since really long time, the song has peaked @ #12 on UK chart, and that was their biggest hit since ''I Don't Feel Like Dancin'''.

#47 Woodkid - Run Boy Run [26 wks]

(64-33-27-23-30-38-44-65-67-59-55-45-37-35-47-53-56-49-41-39-42-42-58-62-51-58) 756 pts

Spending massive 26 weeks in top 75, this song is in top 5 longest runners for this year, even more impressive is the fact that the song has peaked only @ #23 and stayed for such a long time, I'm not sure does I know this song but it's always nice to have such a weird numbers.

#46 Jennifer Lopez Feat. Pitbull - Dance Again [14 wks]

(40-11-7-7-6-8-8-7-8-14-21-30-45-73) 779 pts

Lead single from J.Lo's first Greatest Hits album, she tried almost the same formula what she used with ''On The Floor'' but sadly she failed with this, personally I found this song faar better than ''On The Floor'' and video was really great!

45th Rudimental - Feel The Love [16 wks] (68-25-12-5-6-6-9-13-16-20-25-31-42-44-47-67) 780pts

A great summer smash from Rudimental, this got a top 5 peak after blowing up in the UK and stuck around for a long time after.

44th Girls Aloud - Something New [11 wks*] (33-5-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-5) 785pts

Spending a whooping 8 weeks at #1 and being Buzzjack's Christmas #1, "Something New" was the longest running #1 of the year but it being a tad too recent prevents it from going any higher right here.

43rd Tulisa - Young [15 wks] (34-12-9-8-9-4-5-7-15-19-22-28-42-62-75) 789pts

X Factor judge Tulisa's only song in the countdown, "Young" is a bit generic but at least it isn't as awful as stuff like "Sight Of You" which went nowhere near the top 10, nevermind spent 6 weeks in there.

42nd Ke$ha - Die Young [14 wks*] (71-22-16-15-15-17-20-17-21-14-7-8-12-12) 797pts

Another song with 'young' in the title and one of my favourite songs of the year, not as loved as it could be for Ke$ha but I think it's helped here by the long time between premiere and UK release which lead to it not peaking until the 11th week and is now sticking around quite well.

41st The Saturdays - 30 Days [13 wks] (11-7-5-6-8-10-9-6-13-21-25-32-37) 798pts

Just missing out on a top 40 placing are noted flops (in the UK - they continue to smash in the Multi) The Saturdays. A great track but I did get tired of it. Hopefully the TV show can change their fortunes, eh?

Biggest questions are

Where will Loreen and Alex (Elephant) end up?

Very surprised to see that 'RIP' never made the top 10. It seems like the type of thing we'd usually be over like a rash. I do prefer it to 'How We Do (Party)' but it's nevertheless nice to see Rita get the 'meh' reaction that her music deserves.

It's a pleasant surprise to see Jessie Ware make an appearance too. Well done everyone.

#40 Katy Perry - Wide Awake [14 wks]

(58-37-20-7-3-3-1-2-3-5-13-17-30-53) 812 pts

First entry from Miss Katy Perry, even though it has peaked @ #1, the song didn't had really long life in top 75, personally this is one of her best singles !

#39 Rita Ora - How We Do (Party) [15 wks]

(44-21-16-11-10-11-12-8-5-9-10-16-26-41-66) 834 pts

Never really been into her music, all singles were okay to me, but it looks like ''Radioactive'' will change her flop status in my personal chart.

#38 Paloma Faith - Picking Up The Pieces [16 wks]

(70-40-30-24-21-19-10-6-6-9-10-14-18-19-29-50) 841 pts

This was really decent single from Paloma, nice comeback and it seems that UK public really liked this too coz this is her first top 10 hit in UK.

#37 Calvin Harris Feat. Florence Welch - Sweet Nothing [16 wks]

(75-29-15-14-13-7-4-3-5-11-16-27-26-27-35-61) 848 pts

No.1 hit for Calvin and this was his second no.1 only after few months when he remixed Flo's ''Spectrum'' which has become her first UK no.1.

#36 Jessie J - Domino [16 wks]

(9-2-1-3-5-5-10-12-16-20-23-30-38-44-58-72) 868 pts

Who says that Jessie is not loved by Buzzers? Just look how HIGH the song debuted on Multichart, such a high debuts doesn't happen that often. This song was very Katy Perish style, that was probably one of the reasons why this single have become huge hit in USA too. In UK the song topped chart and has sold over 770,000 to date, huge numbers!

35th Lana Del Rey - Born To Die [15 wks] (1-3-4-2-2-4-5-7-11-13-20-32-42-62-61) 871pts

For the record, this didn't debut at #1, it was just #1 on the first Multi that I included for this countdown. Because such a dreadful song could never debut at #1.

34th Flo Rida (feat. Sia) - Wild Ones [18 wks] (48-12-6-6-9-10-8-9-11-14-22-36-32-39-38-47-73-75) 873pts

Flo Rida's best single is also the only one to feature on this countdown. This is better than "Titanium", no joke.

33rd Little Mix - DNA [13 wks*] (37-14-12-6-6-2-2-2-2-2-6-10-13) 874pts

The slightly better girlband single spent five weeks stuck behind "Something New". The even better "Wings" is still to come later on.

32nd David Guetta (feat. Sia) - She Wolf (Falling To Pieces) [15 wks] (51-27-13-8-7-2-2-1-4-8-11-12-25-41-52) 876pts

French DJ David got back with Sia again to get another hit for the re-release of his album. Not as good as "Titanium" and didn't have as much success either.

31st Katy Perry - Part Of Me [15 wks] (29-11-11-7-6-2-2-2-3-9-16-31-31-37-62) 881pts

The first single from the re-release of "Teenage Dream", it's catchy but was already a bit old due to the demo and is quite weak for her.
