January 14, 201312 yr Griff you're consistently missing the point and it has nothing to do with people attacking you or you being the victim etc. Gaga is not offering the professional counselling. She has hired PROFESSIONAL counsellers to do their job when people turn up at the Born This Way Ball like they would in their office on a Friday morning, because most people are too afraid to go and see real counsellers or don't have the money to afford proper counselling. Gaga's message comes through her songs, which you're entitled to not like as that is perfectly down to your choice. It's far from a fairy-tale, it's about making it easier for people to come to terms with who they are and any issues they're facing. ------- "At the BornBrave Bus you have access to professional private or group chats about mental health, depression, bullying, school & friends. What's more, fans won't have to pay a penny for the services as she explained: "BornBrave Bus Is a place where mental health + depression are taken seriously w/ no judgement, FREE real help available to all." WHAT can you possibly be opposed to about that  Try and distance your apathy for Gaga from what we're actually discussing because we keep going in circles. Exactly. Plus I was saying that she can reach out to SO MUCH MORE people than your usual 'proper activists' just by her every step constantly getting exposed to the public through media. Internet, tours, radio, TV commercials, any other media source of conveying the message - you just name it.
January 18, 201312 yr OK, Sharon actually makes some good points here, particularly by calling out some of the horrid internet trolls that attack celebrities etc. BUT she is missing the point by laying the blame with Gaga as "fans" like this exist for every artist on the internet. I do think in light of this, Gaga should make a statement telling people to stop using such harsh language on her site. At least she can stamp out the trolls on her site and take any blame for them off herself. As hypocritical as she is, fair play to Sharon for this (melodrama aside ofc). jP4z97yJtZ4#
January 18, 201312 yr I agree, she should make a statement, but she does tweet very often about kindness and love all the time. I'm 100% team GaGa on this, Sharon states that when you come into showbiz you "sign up for this life" when defending her daughters show, so surely all those artists that she mentions have also signed this "deal" about showbiz. Celebrities quit twitter every single day due to aggressive/nasty trolls on the website, none of them related to Lady GaGa. BELIEBERS are just as bad when it comes to ANYONE he is rumoured to dating, as it 1D's fans, yet no one mentions that. 33million follwers GaGa has, how on EARTH can she or ANYONE monitor that, Twitter should be reporting them not just GaGa herself.
January 26, 201312 yr Don't know where to put this, but i guess this thread has been hi-jacked enough already (sorry Aly ): @ladygaga "Since the #BornBraveBus began just 12 days ago 3500 youth have attended & 378 signed up to be involved with local bravery/crisis/LGBT centers." Amazing.
January 26, 201312 yr Yeah, sorry for hijakcing this thread a few weeks ago. In the video that Haus posted, I do think that Sharon is being quite hypocritical. She says "Welcome to the real world" in the letter to Gaga but she asks Gaga to stop making death threats that don't really mean anything to Kelly? Edited January 26, 201312 yr by Griefle Mix
February 3, 201411 yr Osbournes End Their Feud With Lady Gaga by Jeff Giles January 31, 2014 11:03 AM http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/80450F/ultimateclassicrock.com/files/2014/01/Sharon-and-Gaga.jpg It was an epic battle of open letters and violent tweets, but it’s all over now: The Osbournes have buried the hatchet with Lady Gaga, ending one of rock’s weirder public feuds. It all went down at MusiCares’ Grammy Week event, where Jack Osbourne was acting as a correspondent for Fuse, and where Jack’s parents Sharon and Ozzy happened to be strolling the red carpet within shouting distance of Gaga. Fortunately, no one did any shouting here. Sharon started the conversation, telling Gaga, “I’m determined we’re going to bury the hatchet”; Gaga responded that, in her opinion, their war ended when she and Sharon embraced on the U.K. edition of ‘The X Factor’ in 2013. “I’m a really huge fan of you guys for a very long time, so it’s totally water under the bridge,” she told the Osbournes — and then she proved it by sharing a story about the days when she and a friend did a Black Sabbath strip routine. Those who love watching Sharon duke it out needn’t worry, however; as we previously reported, she quickly picked up a new feud to replace her expired beef with Lady Gaga, causing a scene at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy gala by getting into a food fight with Sara Bareilles‘ (now former) manager.
