Posted January 11, 201312 yr http://mashable.com/2013/01/11/destinys-ch...nuclear-listen/ Sounds very late '90s - early 2000's. If it gets a proper release... maybe top 10?
January 12, 201312 yr this is obviously not a new recording but clearly an old track that never originally made a previous album and just rehashed and churned out as "a new recording" this whole DC "reunion" is just one big cash in To answer your question though not very well tbh Top 40 if that at best
January 12, 201312 yr Nowhere, this will probably perform like Nelly Furtado's 'Night Is Young' did for her GH set. Utterly pointless, all of it.
January 12, 201312 yr Listened to this earlier and I've already forgotton how it goes. 'Nuclear' doesn't have any redeeming features whatsoever. Like blackout has posted, if it was an album track reject it should've stayed that way. This track really isn't good enough as a single and the whole thing does seem like a typical annual Valentine's Day cash in. The accompanying album doesn't even feature any of their signature hits so that makes the whole thing even more pointless. *shrugs*
January 12, 201312 yr It's really disappointing, absolutely reeks of unused demo. I was hoping for a new Lose My Breath or something. Won't get top 40. Edited January 12, 201312 yr by JosephSimpson
January 12, 201312 yr It's a very good song. I think it'll completely miss the top 75 though. Beyonce's own songs probably won't do as well as everybody thinks either, no matter how good they are.
January 12, 201312 yr I think 'not even reach the T75' is a tad extreme - there's a lot of talk around; I'm sure it can manage T40 on talk/fanbase alone. I get the feeling it's going to be a instant grat for the upcoming album though, in which case it's chances of reaching the T40 decrease significantly. In a world where I can no longer predict who'll be a success (Bowie at #1 on iTunes in 2013!), I've predicted T10; hoping it grows on me.
January 12, 201312 yr ^ I dunno, but the song just doesn't cater to pop music fans. Most people who like pop music will hate the song. I don't think anything from Destiny's Child's discography would be a hit if released today tbh. At least not until Thrift Shop smashes and brings their sort of music back to the mainstream. I can imagine maybe similar success to Settle Down by No Doubt. It's not that big a deal though. Beyonce will probably get a top 40 hit or two from her album hopefully. January 13, 201312 yr As a huge fan of Destiny's Child, this doesn't cut it for me. :( 'Brown Eyes' should've been released as the lead single - even if it is 12 years old. At least it's a great, romantic song. Also, can someone tell me why 'Tell Me' isn't on the tracklist?!!! It might be 15 years old and from their debut album but it's a masterpiece. w7g7o-hK_8g

The difference between 'Thrift Shop' and 'Nuclear' is that Macklemore's track has an annoyingly catchy chorus (once heard, never forgotten) and comical (almost novelty-esque), whilst 'Nuclear' isn't even good background music. That's like saying 'Gangnam Style' will bring other K-Pop songs into the UK charts. It might happen, I just have a gut feeling these are one off massive tracks.
