That's terrible that Shontelle's far superior version of this didn't even chart there, and this is the version they'll be familiar with. :(

Quite surprising really, nowhere near peaking on airplay there either. I think #2 will be its peak there though. Its also #1 on NZ's itunes too (though Pink is #1 combined)

I'm completely surprised at the success that James Arthur is enjoying in other countries right now. Personally, he was the only male contestant on X Factor I had any interest in (Carolynne and Ella being the others).

 

It sure bodes well for James' second single. The way 'Impossible' is taking off, his next single might end up getting one of those international releases. It'd be even more surprising if 'Impossible' does well in America.

I'd be quite surprised too, the original version by Shontelle was significantly bigger there than it was in the UK.
