February 5, 201312 yr A few of my favourites: Sheryl Crow - The First Cut is the Deepest (#36, 2003) Linkin Park - Breaking the Habbit (#39, 2004) Both amazing   Although I do think the former isn't completely forgotten, I hear it very occasionally on the radio. A few that come to mind that I love (by this, I only mean that a general average Joe wouldn't be able to recall it): MCR - I'm Not Okay (19, 2005) Glasvegas - Geraldine/Daddy's Gone (15 and 12, 2008) Ladyhawke - My Delirium (33, 2008) Steve Mac - Paddy's Revenge (17, 2008) Cherry Ghost - People Help The People (25, 2007) - I don't think even being covered has helped its prospects :( Supermode - Tell Me Why (13, 2006) Also, despite the pretty cool video, I doubt that many would remember this (despite the high Youtube views): dTAAsCNK7RA Thirty something in 2006 Edited February 5, 201312 yr by Chez Wombat
February 5, 201312 yr Great song, as was the similar Gouryella by Gouryella  Loads of brilliant trance songs filled the 11-40 positions in 1999. Forgotten by Joe Bloggs perhaps but still regarded as classics by fans of the genre - Ayla, Carte Blanche, 1999, The Awakening, Lizard and so many more! Good ole Ferry Corsten. Other ones like Liquid Child's "Diving Faces" (on Now 44) and Veracocha's "Carte Blanche". If something like that made the Top 40 now it would make everything else in the chart sound so average and DULL. :D THIS AND THIS! The only trance songs the general public are aware of these days are Children and Sandstorm :( Whilst those two are amazing and deserve to be dance classics, there are many more amazing trance songs out there. For example Ayla as suggested by gooddelta   tCyGf8pEr5M And I would add Meet Her At The Love Parade, Cafe del Mar, Resurrection to the above list however I'm sure there's many I've forgotten. All classics in the trance scene but not really remembered by the average person. :( Edited February 5, 201312 yr by 2013 Thermometer
