I'd love to see someone attempt a sequel to "Bladerunner"... But I suppose Harrison Ford's getting a wee bit long in the tooth these days really, so I dunno who'd play Deckard. And Ridley Scott has just tarnished his reputation by making so much ruddy tripe over the past decade or so, I wouldn't really want him to direct it either.... :(

Richard Linklater directing perhaps...? "A Scanner Darkly" is absolutely fantastic....

I want more LOTR :( :P

And Tomb Raider too.

Well, unfortunately Tolkien didn't write any more LOTR books than three, so yer sh!t outta luck... And I dont think that even Peter Jackson would be confident enough to believe that he could write a 'fourth in the trilogy'.....

As for "Tomb Raider", well, I rather think that two of these rather sh!t films were two too bloody many for me..... :puke2:

in the case of LOTR, a follow up was on the books for Jackson (that is, he was gonna do the Hobbit), but unfortunately New Line do not have the complete rights to option it and would have to share profits with some random film production outfit, which they dont want to do

and as for tomb raider you might be in luck :o

Tomb Raider III Possible

Jolie may return as Lara Croft after all by Paul Davidson. ( http://uk.ign.com/ )

April 20, 2006 - Almost two years ago, action starlet Angelina Jolie said she was finished with Tomb Raider. However, the popular actress has since had a change of heart, Britain's Daily Express tabloid reports, and a third Tomb Raider is now on the drawing board. (source: Entertainmentwise)

"Paramount has optioned [Tomb Raider III] and Angelina has agreed to star in the third," Ian Livingstone — fantasy author, Eidos co-founder, and creator of Lara Croft — told the paper. Eidos Interactive, now owned by SCi, created the wildly popular computer and console game series based on the adventures of archaeologist Lara Croft. The franchise continues to be popular with the release of the company's latest game, Tomb Raider: Legend.

Jolie and husband Brad Pitt are currently holed up in a resort in the African country of Namibia, awaiting the birth of their child. However, that hasn't stopped her from making some preparations in anticipation of the film. "Angelina is already in training to make sure she gets rid of her post-pregnancy bulge," a source told the paper. "She wants to be in tip-top shape and look better in Lara's outfit than ever."

I heard about Peter doing The Hobbit. I hope so. I didn't read the book yet, but I've heard it's very good.

I know a sequel for the trilogy would not be as good as the 3 movies, but oh well, I miss it ... :( lol The fellowship, the crew, the actors together again ...

And I read that about Tomb Raider a while ago. I so wanna see Lara Croft in action again.

there's two of them in the making, the 2nd one should be mostly by by Rob R whilst st the moment it looks like 3 will be directed by Frank M by himself

Sin City 2 is the sequel to the 2005 movie Sin City, which was based on Frank Miller's Comic book Mini Series, which were later turned into bound Graphic Novels. It will be released in 2007, although an exact release date has yet to be confirmed. It was revealed by director Robert Rodríguez that the story for film to be based around would be A Dame to Kill For as well as a new story to be written by Frank Miller. The new story centers around the character of Nancy Callahan. It will weave in and out of A Dame to Kill For and will show "A whole new side of Nancy", according to Miller. No other stories have been confirmed at this time, but Frank Miller has also expressed interest in including other Sin City short stories in the film, possibly including "Blue Eyes." [1]

Currently, the characters that are returning from the previous film are Miho (Devon Aoki), Gail (Rosario Dawson), Goldie/Wendy (Jaime King), Shellie (Brittany Murphy), Dwight (Clive Owen) and Marv (Mickey Rourke). Cult-figure Danny Trejo, who frequently appears in Rodriguez's films will also appear in the film. Jessica Alba will also reprise her role as Nancy as well as Michael Clarke Duncan, who will return as Manute and Michael Madsen, returning as Bob. Powers Boothe is also attached to return as Senator Roarke.

It is unknown whether or not Becky (Alexis Bledel) or The Salesman (Josh Hartnett) will return to reprise their roles for this film.

Even though the events confirmed for this film take place before certian events of the first film (allowing deceased characters such as Marv, Manute, and Goldie to return), they take place after the death of Hartigan, who will most likely not return. Bruce Willis has confirmed that he will not be involved in this film, but he has stated that he would love to reprise the role, if Frank Miller were to write some new Hartigan material for a subsequent sequel.

Angelina Jolie was said be playing the role of Ava in the movie according to Rosario Dawson [2], but a subsequent article stated there are three rumored frontrunners for the role of Ava Lord: Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, and Rose McGowan [3]. Frank Miller himself has not commented on these rumors, they are purely speculation by the author of the article.

The film was originally scheduled for release in the summer of 2006. However, due to scripting delays, the release of the film has now been pushed back until sometime in 2007. [4]

talking of Robert R there's a sequel to this coming out soon

however i think it would be fun that the series grows more violent as the audience grows up

so the final entry would be the most ultraviolent film ever
