AUTOLASER CONTINUES SUCCESS, QUALIFIES FOR FINAL

http://i61.tinypic.com/2s7z37l.png

Hoping to continue the success of Tielsie for Cadelicia is AutoLaser. Hailing from Norway, this is the Cadelicia's first entry from that particular country. "IKNOW" has the same sort of sound as previous entries "Palette" and "I Feel Rave", but possibly with a more commercial twist. Whilst there were (once again) middling odds for the entry, AutoLaser has qualified for the final, and things look promising with a number of supporters having been in the other semi-final able to now vote for the song.

CADELICIA CRASH TO WORST FINAL RESULT

http://i60.tinypic.com/t8n2og.png

AutoLaser - IKNOW | 29th (73 points)

It was an agonizing night for the Cadelician public as they had to endure the country's worst result in a final since joining the Buzzjack Song Contest. It was a surprising result, as there had been rumblings of a safe mid-table finish for 'IKNOW', but this wasn't to be as a number of low points meant that the song didn't quite grab anyone else's attention that much.

President Lauren Dewar is hopeful the next entrant will continue the run of qualifications though, and is looking to end the year on a high, just as the country did last year with their 5 contest streak in 2013.

COWBELLS FOR CADELICIA

http://i57.tinypic.com/4ik4jo.png

Fresh from their recent flop in Unknown Pleasures, Made In Heights have been secured as the entrant for Cadelicia in the 69th edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest. They have submitted a much more commercial song for this contest, called 'Ghosts', and the country is looking to capitalise on the favourable semi-final draw to qualify for a third month in a row.

Listen to the cowbell infested gem below.

CADELICIA AVOID BOTTOM TEN

http://www.electricpandamusic.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/made-in-heights.jpg

Made In Heights - Ghosts | 22nd (85 points)

Avoiding the bottom 10 was Cadelicia's main objective this month, and they succeeded. Having qualified fairly comfortably from their semi-final in 9th, Made In Heights were always destined for mid-table obscurity, but failed to live up to even that. Another new placing in the final, it continues a run of having never finished in the same position in any of the 11 finals Cadelicia have been a part of.

After having three entries lined up, the Cadelician public have chosen their next representative. A former top 10 entry, President Dewar hopes that the song can squeeze past the veto framework and repeat the feat for her country.

That's definitely a thing now, we've swapped points for the last 4 contests in a row, and 5 of the last 6.

"Kissing in the hallway."

I love this band ^_^ hope this does well / isn't vetoed because it is pretty cheap.

Well we already know it hasn't been vetoed so ~

It's not really that cheap, I know they had a BJSC hit before but they're not exactly a big name (except in New Zealand).

Another great entry from you anyway :D

Is this as good as Mother & Father? If it is then this is a winner because that song is amazinggg

It has hand claps...

...if that's any consolation? (I haven't listened to Mother & Father yet so I don't know if it's better, can I say yes?)

I heard it on FIFA 15.

EDIT

It actually sounds quite similar to Mother & Father. :D

BROODS ARE BACK

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y57/myartworkweb/2013%20Photos/BROODS_zpsa3531163.png

Last seen earning themselves a top 10 in the 60th edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest, Broods are back and ready to prove they aren't a one hit wonder. Having given them three points in that particular contest, it seems a good fit for them to represent a country that had faith in them. Cadelicia are hoping to build on a successful end to the year, but would do well to earn only their third top 20 hit of the year. At under 3 minutes it is one of Cadelicia's shortest entries.

Listen below.

CADELICIA PREPARE FOR INCOMING COUNTRIES

For the first time in their contest history, Cadelicia are opening the gates for the promotional tours of various countries and their entries. A surprise visit from Kathaldazia is currently in full swing in the capital of Windevale, with delegates and officials from both countries present. With the entrants from both Danaelanda and Yehesi to arrive later in the week, it's looking like an especially busy couple of days for President Lauren Dewar.

"It's exciting to finally allow the promotional campaigns from competing countries into Cadelicia; this has been an area we've kept out of in the past due to the ongoing foot and mouth outbreak that has lasted for some months. We've been reluctant to let the foreign population into our country, and whilst it has dropped considerably, the risk of infection is still high. The winter did the country a massive favour last year in helping to stem the disease, with the coldest December on record causing a 50% drop in new cases."

Scientists are planning for another cold winter and it has been estimated that, if there was to be a repeat of last year, the disease could be eradicated by mid-January 2015.
