Does anyone here love this album as much as I do? It's my favourite album of all time. Not a duff track and it flows seamlessly.

Released in Feb. 1977 worldwide, it's sold over 3.3 million copies in the UK and over 30 million worldwide.

Brilliant album, it's a nice novelty when my favourite three songs on an album are the middle three.
I can't wait to see AlexRange's response.

I dislike this album very much.

"Rumours" and "Ray Of Light" are 2 most overrated albums, which I heard in all my life.

LOL. Do you mind telling me why you think Rumours is overrated? Do you just not like the Mac or you don't like these songs? Do you like any other Mac songs or albums?

I didn't heard many Fleetwood Mac songs.

From "Rumours" : I like "Dreams" (very good song), but I don't understand why peoples love "Chain" and "Go Your Own Way" so much.

"Little Lies" from "Tango In The Night" is really nice.

its a classic, a big student album when I was one in 77/78, and even Glee have honoured it. Why? 4 songwriters at their peak, and a relentless tale of break-up based on real life stuff going on in the band. It's one of those rare albums where the sum of all the tracks is greater then the individual tracks when taken out of it. I'd go so far as to say most of their albums had better singles up to and including Tango In The Night (as Alex says Little Lies is the great one) from Fleetwood Mac onwards, not to mention great solo stuff, but this is the great album.

I'm really impressed that this is holding in the current Top 10 albums. After it's high debut I expected it to fall out of the top 10 but it's still in there.

Warner Brothers. have come in for lots of criticism from both fans and CD retailers alike as most of the 3-disc reissue copies are badly scratched, both in the US and Europe. Some people have sent several copies back to Amazon. Quality control has obviously failed spectacularly as discs shouldn't reach retailers even in such a scratched state.

Also the single disc re-issue is said to be the same as the 2004 re-issue and nowhere on the packaging or disc does it say "2013" Warners have been accused of maybe trying to offload old stock as the re-issue and Amazon has suspended selling this now until they investigate what's happened. It's not Amazon just sending out the wrong item. So beware if you want to buy it.
