"The Robbie Williams-penned song The 90s, which was last month pulled from review copies of his forthcoming album Rudebox, has now been returned to the album line-up, after undergoing alterations to its lyrics.

 

The track was pulled from all reviews copies after Williams himself made direct references to the songs lyrics in an interview, prompting former manager Nigel Martin-Smith to enter talks with a top libel lawyer, intent on making Williams withdraw his allegations in a court of law.

 

In a statement at the time, a source close to Martin Smith said, “Nigel has always kept a dignified silence despite all of Robbie's remarks but the singer has over stepped the mark this time and Nigel is both upset and angry.â€

 

The song will now be included with certain lyrics edited out. Williams’ new single Lovelight is released on November 13."

 

I'm delighted it will still be on the album but disgusted that bast*rd got the words taken out :puke2:

Who has Robbie written this new album with? Is Duffy still his writing partner on tracks like The Actor or has he written the new songs with loads of different people? :unsure:

Loads of different people. Duffy only did Kiss me (obviously) and something else which I can't remember

 

I remember posting up who wrote each track with Rob ages ago. :unsure:
