Exactly,Actually, when I was getting the album today. One girl (in her 20's) saw Rudebox and actually said to her mate "oh, look Robbie has a new album out" She was in shock and was obviously a fan :rolleyes:

 

EMI have alot to answer for :arrr:

The promotion is definitely internet led - will that be enough? Hopefully! No sign that Robbie has anything new out in any of my local record stores yet.

 

I guess all the newspapers and music mags have carried reviews this week and it was Radio 2 album of the week, but that's about as far as the promotion has gone so far.

It's out !It's out ! It's out ! I'm happy I haven't downloaded anything. The cd is great ! Not that dance, but great ! She's Madonna is such a great track ! Very PSB ! :)

The package of the limited edition is AMAZING !!!

Funny, really. In those articles about the problems with the 90s it always said if the album had to be delayed that would be a huge problem because a lot of money had already been invested in a "massive international promotion campaign" ... WHERE IS IT NOW ??? :blink:

But it seems that EMI UK is doing the worst work here. I have to say that in Austria and Germany there are loads of ads, mainly in newspapers and RTL (one of Germany's biggest TV channels) has an ad, so I can't really complain there. It was the same with the Rudebox single.

 

Scotty, hope you'll still have a roof over your head by next week :unsure: :lol:

I hate to say it but right now I'm not sure of anything. :puke2:

Even if the album makes it to no. 1 (crossing everything that I've got) they will compare his sales to his previous standards and I bet if they are not anywhere near 300k the press will scream "FLOP". :cry:

Today's Sun has a short article about the MTV Latin Awards and in the end it says something like in a week we'll know how the Rudebox album has done in the charts. Sounds like they can't wait for him to fail. :arrr:

Really enjoyed the DVD and of course it sounds much better "legal'......sighhhhhh.

 

The album was blaring in the music store and it sounded AMAZING :wub: :wub: :wub:.

My hubby bought the CD&DVD edition for me. Can't pull myself of the TV......

 

The Close Enqounters Tour documentary is great.

And yeah.....legal version have to be bought!! Otherwise RW woul'dn't make any money at all and YES indeed is sounds much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbup: :wub: :yahoo:

I missed it, but apparently there was an ad for Rudebox on during the ad break in X Factor tonight! That's pretty high profile I guess!

I can't be bothered to read through this entire thread but is this album worth getting?. :unsure: I didn't really like Rudebox, but i'm really liking Lovelight at the moment. ^_^

 

Oh and on the promotion fron in my local HMV (which is pretty big), the album cover was all over the windows and all across the store, so I think a lot of people will be hearing about it.

Great ^_^ Make sure to buy it this week though cause I want it to sell more than IC in the first week :lol:

 

 

Lovelight is the first Robbie song in ages which I feel has a chance of being #1. But apperently the Emma bloody Bunton is releasing the Chilren in need song so yet agian he will be kept off by someone talentless :rolleyes:
