I dissagree, I understand that IC & Escapology are maybe the albums that got you into Rob but IMO Escapology is truely awful in comparision to Rudebox. It has some classics but the rest are no way up to the standard to LTAL, IBEY and SWYW IMO <_<

IC is great but does'nt contain any memerable classics and is very boring when compared to the amazingly diverce and exciting Rudebox

I agree about IC....partly....I like it but not as much as the previous albums...as for Escapology- well I can say there are more songs on that album that I like than there are on IC...I mean really really like!

Escapology unlike IC has some true classics (Fee & Come Undone) and a few great songs but the rest are fillers in my opinion. Rob's first 3 albums were pop masterpieces IMO. IC is so much better than Escapology cause it is consistant and does'nt contain awful songs Like How Peculiar <_<

I'm glad Vicky was'nt predictable and did'nt compare sales with IC :D

As for those 3AM Mirror bitches :puke2:

If he's not #1 he's seen as a flop. When he does get to #1 he's seen as a flop

I love their logic. They have so little intelligence it's shocking they have such a good job

I mean Rudebox got to #4 and sold over 25k which are sales loads of songs get to #1 these days. Did the 3AM bitches mention that at the time? Of course not. They only cared about the chart position, but now suddenly they want to talk about the exact figures. It truely is beyond pathetic. They are like a bunch of 9 year olds

Still, they'll be too busy next week to pay much attention to the Chart. What with polishing their broomsticks for Halloween and all. :P

Update - at end of Tuesday Rudebox on 75k - next up My Chemical Romance on 47k.

The gap is widening

Dory, I am getting so confused now.

Are these figures for close of day for Tuesday? or for the Wednesday

I have read on the chart chat here on Buzzjacks. Wednesday update and it being Thursday I am getting muddled.

I am abit thick and don't know what day it is. Doh.

If it is just for the Tuesday sales then that is great  , but kind of worrying if Rudebox sold only another 25,000 odd over two days.

Have I got you confused as well. lol.

It was posted as being Wednesday's update - meaning sales to the end of Tuesday. (If it was todays update, it would be sale to end of Wednesday)

I think that's right ;)

I have explained why in the chart forum. You can't expect an artist who only released an album less than a year ago to have the same sales as those who have'nt had albums in 2-3 years. And it's also got rubbish promo unlike the SS and Killers who got an unbelievable amount -_-

releasing rudebox the single was bad for this album and has put many people off,has he neve rreleased albums so close before though?

Oh definatly. If Lovelight or another song had've been releaed sales would be alot higher, I i think within the next few weeks it will continue to sell very weel once Lovelight gets more Airplay and is released

And no, he he always had about 2 years break apart from Swing but that was'nt a proper Robbie album. ^_^
