Wow :o :o :o this is really great!!! :yahoo:

I can't believe this!!!

15 in USA? Is this joke?

Again, just can't believe this! I didn't expect this, to be honest.

If it's true, than I am speechless :yahoo:

It is very impressive for someone who is'nt even trying to break the USA right now but it's not the Hot 100. It's only I-tunes but still very impressive since I-tunes is such a massive site especially in America.

#9 in Canada is also great ^_^

but how come Robbie is not promoting Rudebox in the UK.

To be honest I am a bit fed up about it here, and perhaps you are in Ireland too Scotty. Germany are getting an amazing amount of promo.

Also, did you know that in Germany they are screening the Live DVD, I think, in various cinema's throughout the country. Not sure if it is before release of the DVD or not.

Now come on Robbie is British isn't he? Where is our promotion.

I demand it :whip: lol

I agree 100% Jackie. We constantly hear about millions being spent on Promo and it quite obvious it's not int he UK/Ireland. EMI seem to think countries like Germany have a bigger market which is'nt true, even though IC sold more their thay it did in the UK ;)

Robbie has a month off now and of course he should spend time relaxing before he heads down under but I think some promo in the UK is desperatly needed. Rob needs to appear on Johnathan Ross and Parky and sing some of this album so the public can see how great it is and that the whole thing does'nt sound like Rudebox (the song)

I agree too, I know he needs a break, and he deserves one, but he can't expect us to do all the work lol..

I would like to see him come home and give us a treat, he should consider doing the early evening TV shows, Meatloaf has done alot of promo this week, thats why Jackie is panicking.

In relation to the chart positions, when is the cut off time Scotty? Saturday or Sunday.

I agree Susie. But Meat Loaf is days are long behind him I think although his new song is'nt bad. ^_^ He'll probebly be like Bob Dylan and his album will fall rapidly down the chart.

My Chemical Romance are the big thing atm but Rudebox is outselling them by a alrge margin. ^_^

The cut off time is Saturday, so tomorrow's sales will be included next week. I hope he can remain #1 next week. Something IC could'nt do. Next week does'nt have any huge releases but he could be overtaken by MCR or even the Killers but I have a feeling the album may sell more next week once people hear how good it is ^_^

thanks Scotty.

So do you know what the sales figure are for Friday? I was working it out from 108,000 on Thursday. So I guess it must be about 118,000 now. Which is very worrying. Especially if it stays one week at the top. At least IC did that with 375,000 sales. On those low figures for Rudebox why would it stay a 2nd week.

It will make the difference for the end of year chart too. Will Robbie be featured ;)

No. Mon - Thur sales were 108K. Friday & Sat sales will be far higher than the rest fo the week so he will definatly be between 175-200K now. ^_^ Sales don't usually come after Thursday.

I am expecting sales of this album to be consistent and sell well after Xmas which IC did'nt manage to do. It sold hardly anothing so far in 2006 <_<

In the coming weeks with Lovelight being released sales will most likely remain high. And through word of mouth people will hopefully buy it and relalise it all does'nt sound like Rudebox. I am so annoyed Rudebox was the first single. It really is to blame for all of this :arrr:

His casual fans who like his normal music will still enjoy alot of the songs on this album so I expect sales to be consistent

It will easily pass a million. I mean Xmas is on the way and those who are on the fence will hopefully just buy it in the coming week especially if they see him perform songs like She's Madonna on TV which is what he needs to do ^_^

I wish I could find my post of a few weeks ago when I said what I thought would happen to this album Sales wise. But I can't remember what thread it was in.

I should be a fortune teller. <_<

Well either way, we should be congratulating him on his 8th No.1..that is some achievement. I do hope he does manage over the years to top Elvis, and thats saying something coming from me, because I am a huge Elvis fan too, but Robbie swings it for me plus he is a Brit doing it.

Go for it Robbie.

I agree. Being No1 is what matters at the moment. The Sales hopefully will pick up in the coming weeks as word gets around that its a great album. ^_^

I agree with everyone on everything. :D

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks a month off is too long, he needs to get his ass over to the UK and perform some album tracks on the telly. I can't believe they are expecting the album to sell by itself- not that one, not after the Rudebox single and all the negativity from the press. There's some convincing to be done here. <_<

why are they saying in the Chart chat not to post Robbie's sales for Rudebox.

Yeah, why? Do they want us RW fans to be in for a nice surprise or for the shock of our lives ? :o

Rudebox goes to No.1 in Austrailia :yahoo: :yahoo: :party2:
According to HIT40UK it sold only 147000 in the UK, I'm really hoping it's wrong

Oh no. Please god make that not be true

Hit40UK are usaully reliable :( it was a half-term week, so sales didn't follow the normal pattern.

But wouldnt sales be more since everyone was off School :(

I pray this isnt true. I mean that only 17,000 more than IC sold in the first day alone

It would sound about right to me Scotty.

I would have hoped for more, that is terribly low for him, but I won't let it spoil my enjoyment of Robbie getting his 8th No. 1. I do hope that it continues to sell, like you said, if it doesn't :puke2:

:cheer:

No. All the experts expecting him to sell 200K so this is an absolute shock that it has'nt even managed 150k
